Only time will tell, before he was drafted he was red flagged by some teams due to Stenosis. Whether that turns out to be the case will play out right before us.
So Ike was getting a real good look at how well he sets the edge not without a reason, Misi wasn't holding the PoA well enough for Sparano. And Haynos sounds like he had a Lis Francs injury, the degree still unknown, sometimes rest will heal them, sometimes surgery is required.
Basically, they did not play Sparano Ball on Friday, too many penalties, negative plays and lost yardage on Special Teams. Hmm, wonder who the Center will be?
That is more than enough playing time to make a decision on MJ one way or another, but I just cannot see us carrying 4 ILB's. Nalbone is a fish.
Hmm, Micah Johnson and Charlie Anderson both getting run time at ILB? That is not saying good things about Spitler/Folsom/Crowder, one has to wonder how badly Channing C is injured if Sparano is searching through the backups with Dobbins and Dansby already to go..
Padre, if my memory serves Anderson was a pretty decent coverage LB (I want to say the weakside LB) in the Texans 4-3 early in his career. Fairly similar to how our 3-4 ILBs operate. I wonder if he might have a shot at winning that "Wesley Woodyard" role as the pass-coverage ILB in certain packages. Essentially, I wonder if they're trying Anderson at the role they had pegged for A.J. Edds.
Exactly, the guy can do 5 jobs, is experienced and runs well. With DC Pasqualoni Taylor and Porter played all of the time, with Nolan, everyone on the Lb corps will play in packages and sub packages, Anderson's flexibility is a huge part of that scheme.
why would you pass on cosby? the guy has played well for the bengals this preseason and can return kicks. caldwell caught 50 passes for 400 yds last season. how is that like pat turner?
On my board, I had us taking him with our #2.....and boy could we use a player at that position that can find his own space, instead of waiting for someone else to create it.
yup!!! The kid is a beast with a boatload of talent and the "I'm gonna dominate you" mentality to go with it!! He screamed Parcells to me and everything that embodies what we want our players to be like. Does he not look like a man among boys out there at times already? (and he's only freakin 21) I'm sure we both feel that young Henne needs a reliable weapon/best-friend like Gronk over the middle to help us through crunch situations...... or anytime of the game for that matter.
Wasn't Anquan Bolding diagnosed with the same condition and may be part of the reason we passed on him in the draft?
I think that had more to do with just trading for David Boston Den.. I do know it has ended several careers, the most recent being Samual for the Redskins.
I was more impressed by Micah than Dobbins. With Channing's injury problems, I would not be surprised to see him let go at this point.
I think chrowder is just fine . I think they are running Anderson at ILB to look at their options. If this is bad for anyone its Micah being as he would be the odd man out. But i would hate that, how could we let him go after how he has looked
Maybe, they stashed Folsom on the practice squad last yr, if Micah has shown more than Folsom or Spitler this yr he could wind up on there as well. Heard an interesting comment on how they decide to whether or not to keep a fringe player to develop: "One year from now, what will they be"?
Right, I agree. Just guessing as to why he'd be getting looks at ILB as well. I think he'd be pretty decent in space and might be a Plan B for that coverage LB role.
Any word on Carey? I'm assuming it's nothing serious as I haven't heard any follow up on those tweets
man, i dont know, he doesn't look to have the body for the middle, and your taking away what he does best...maybe its because if he doesn't learn to do more things he's gonna get cut at outside linebacker.
Ahh but Donald would be fined week in and week out for not adhering to the NFL's unwritten bylaw of "Wear some ****ing pants". Damn Diva.
Boldin was in the 2003 draft. We didn't trade for Boston till 2004. Samuels still played for ten seasons, which is way above the average NFL career length.
I dunno if you're trying to pat yourself on the back but I don't see anything that says one is better than the other. Gronkowski has done a good job blocking for NE and has been a quality red zone target. Hernandez is flexed out nearly every down.
oh yeah do i like to pat myself on the back, its just that i dont wanna start new threads about every little s*** this is why i did some research to get that old one, if i just could find the one where desides said TO is washed up too that would make my day !!!
its not hernandez fault that its this way around, hernandez is a huge part why randy moss is in minnesota
