So the parents asked me what to buy so they can watch GBTV (Glenn Beck) on their TV... I just dont know much about them and am confused about the difference in a lot of them. Roku? Google TV? What should I tell them (unrelated to Beck lmao)?
The gbtv website says it'll be available through Roku on Sept 12th. If they have a computer with an internet connection, they could potentially just run the proper cable to their TV and get a wireless mouse and keyboard for surfing/streaming/etc.
Looks like there's a new generation of Roku boxes on the way, so if that's the only way to get GBTV, it's probably worth waiting for those, even if only to get the current generation for a cheaper price. That's assuming Roku is the only way to get access.
Depends on what sort of TV they have though, a new flat screen there are 3 ways, monitor cable, UDMI cable and ye old red, white and green three headed cable. No remote control though.
