Sounds good to me. IF he could put it together, dude could be a gem. ****ing absolute beast physically.
Eh, why hide it? I am sure hardknocks would uncover it. Also, he doesnt seem to be the Bellichek type. He's been pretty upfront so far...
Well, he said he isn't talking about any injury until the regular season, when he has to. Pretty standard for any NFL head coach.

gotta wait some more, still no pads, but if someone from the WR rookie´s and wallace could step up, that would be huge
Very early. But, he's getting noticed. Thats better than not getting noticed without pads on. It's all he can do at this point. Ill be watching closely.
omar put up a piece http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...raining-camp-battles-20120726,0,3626880.story
It's an interesting theory and a good point to bring up, but I don't think it's going to work out the way you think it will. I think Coples is going to be an impact END in this league whereas the only position I see Odrick making an impact in 2012 will be at tackle on pass downs. Although that's not to say he won't be a pretty good run defender as an end. He will be. What I'm hoping is that having that duty won't wear him out to where he's less impactful at tackle on pass plays.
There's the positive note on our 4th round pick that people (self included) were looking for. It would be such a shame if Clyde Gates just fizzled out like a wet firework. I was really happy when the Dolphins drafted him. Much more so than when the Dolphins drafted Rishard Matthews in the 7th round.

here are the real photos, also NFL N is running "inside camp" live right now, maybe miami is coming up as well http://www.miamidolphins.com/media/...3dd4e5d4#960ac673-252c-4e3b-b346-5ce44d36e8e9
Sweet Jehovah, Sean Smith is at 224 lbs right now and says he's lost 24 lbs since the middle of OTAs, around mid to late May. He was up to 248 lbs? As a ****ing CORNER?
And by the way consider that during those OTAs he was out there intercepting the most balls on the team and generally looking very impressive. At 248 lbs.
Its also a problem he let himself get to that. If he cant keep from putting on weight like that. His career is destined to be at safety.
I wouldnt know CK all WFAN keeps talking about is Tebow getting sacked on the first play of camp hahahahahahaha
So I went today to training camp and I noticed a few things. First Matt Moore was taking the first team snaps but he fumbled once or twice, and at times took too long to decide who to pass to. I feel that if he can get at a better rhythm he will be able to adjust really well in the offense, but so far doesn't seem like he is. Garrard threw accurate passes and I see him as first string heading into week 1. Chad Johnson formerly known as Ochocinco had some really good catches and he showed that he still has speed with him. In one play Hartline just destroyed Richard Marshall, which either means Hartline is doing very good or Marshall needs improvement. It didn't matter in the end though because Moore overthrew it. Didn't see any fights so my guess is that the chemistry of the team is getting together very well, and in this league chemistry is key. Bess made a few great catches, one of them a diving catch. Garrard threw one deep perfectly in the arms of I think it was Roberto Wallace. Also, Pruitt and Clay both had dropped when they were wide open. The O-line seemed to give the qb time to throw which is good. Also Reggie ran a couple down the middle and while it isn't 100% contact yet he ran some nicely past defenders untouched. Clyde Gates, I believe, will be cut. He doesn't fit in the offense, he had drops, couldn't catch the passes with the second team. I don't see him making this team at all. Jeff Fuller, Les Brown, and Michael Egnew also had some good catches during the camp. I head out of Florida tomorrow morning so that is all I could report so far, hope it helps!
Im not worried about SS gaining weight. He's too narissistic to get fat. He probably wants mass to cut up. Sean smith needs to mature...once that light goes on, oh booyyyyy.
In a 4-3 set, who do you have at end opposite Wake? Langford? And on obvious passing downs do you project athletic tackles in Odrick and Starks, or is Soliai in there somewhere?
I believe they said it was all muscle though, I could be wrong though....how do you put on that much muscle in one offseason tho?
Well, he played end in our 3-4, but I do realize he isn't athletic enough to play rush end in the 4-3, but I am having a tough time picking someone there. O. Vernon if he shows flashes?
Pat Devlin looks like Peyton Manning in #15. Looks like. Thanks to everyone in this thread for providing updates and photos. Making my Friday go by much quicker!
If he's having trouble keeping weight off then I agree with you it might be inevitable. I do remember a tweet where he mentioned looking at the scale and having no idea how the hell he could be that heavy.
Langford's not with us anymore, buddy. In base sets I would actually think about a combination of Olivier Vernon and Jamaal Westerman at LDE. They're strong and active run defenders at this point, but I don't know how much either offers as pass rushers. I would tend to have Odrick rotate with Starks and Soliai at DT to keep everyone fresh. On pass rush downs, there's no good answer because the Dolphins didn't do an adequate job (IMO) during the off season of grabbing a compelling pass rusher to play opposite Wake. But I would tend to have Starks and Odrick in the middle, every now and then even having Olivier Vernon come in as a nickel DT pass rusher.
Wow. What a brain freeze!! My bad about Langford! Thanks for the insight though ck. Here's to hoping Vernon can step up.
Not sure I believe Sean Smith is being entirely truthful with his quoted weight. When Sean Smith tweeted that he had lost 25 lbs, Richie Incognito tweeted back, "You're down to 135lbs....Congrats?" Interesting to hear Yeatman lining up at second team RT, guessing Murtha isn't thrilled but they must want to find out quickly if Yeatman has a shot as a tackle before moving on. Possible that something is up with Murtha too, but that'd just be idle speculation at this point.
I'm actually excited about Yeatman moving to tackle. His chances of making the team just increased tenfold. He goes from a position-profile that Joe Philbin has almost NO history accepting (slow, heavy, one-dimensional blocking tight end) to a position-profile Joe Philbin has a bunch of history accepting (unusually light, unusually athletic tackle).
