Plug in a tape of him at Tennessee from last year. That's all I'll say. Have to remember, he too is coming off the same shoulder injury Dion Jordan had.
Not sure what else to say...laugh all you want, especially if it's at Paul. But I'm convinced that if/when Miami finally settles on putting Dallas Thomas at left guard - where they have him listed on the depth chart - he'll prove to be more than a serviceable starter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Xuxi2oLJgs - Thomas vs. Alabama last fall.
Ro, we were laughing at Pauly, and Sick for saying what some of us were thinking.. This is all Paul's fault, he's a moderator and should do a better job posting tweets about our practices..
I re-read the thread and noticed that. Didn't mean to make it seem like I was overreacting. Apologies if I did. I was a little amped up as I'm working from home today (i.e. watching the Reds game) and they won a nail-biter.
When I first started getting into football in 2nd/3rd grade, the Bengals were AWFUL. No one liked them, so I didn't follow them. I remember just about everyone in my 2nd grade class had a Dallas Cowboys Starter Jacket (even me, my mom wanted me to make friends). The first game I remember watching was the Dallas Game on Thanksgiving when Leon Lett blew the game and Miami won. I thought they must be awesome since they beat the Cowboys, as I knew the Cowboys were good. Miami played on Monday night against the Chargers a few weeks later and school had already been cancelled for Tuesday, so my dad let me stay up and watch the game. I liked the team, the colors, etc and knew they were pretty good. Dan Marino came back the next year and I was totally hooked. I was in 3rd grade that year and have followed them ever since. I don't mind the Bengals, and having worked for Anthony Munoz, I've learned a lot more about the inner-workings of that team than most Bengals fans will ever know, or even care to find out about for that matter, so I usually keep up with them to some degree. That said, I was present at the Dolphins game last fall in Cincinnati proudly wearing my Dan Marino throwback jersey. My loyalty as a fan will always be with the Dolphins. Cincinnati, by nature, has always been and will always be a baseball town. So, you're pretty much automatically a Reds fan if you're born here or live here a long while (I will watch a Dolphins game over a Reds game though). High School football is probably the 2nd sport in this town, ahead of the Bengals. A lot of the bigger schools in the area are very good and are nationally ranked year-to-year. A lot of those games have to be played in Paul Brown Stadium and some draw 40,000+. The Bengals are next, or the favorite of everyone that lives in Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana.
Well, I only said lmao at DJ's lol, because I had no idea what he was loling at. I figured if he could pad his post count in the quest to catch Padre, then I could too. We're only 60k behind. If Padre stopped posting for 2-3 years and we tripled our output, we may catch him in that time. Maybe.
Just to upgrade this thread from the poor effort that Pauly demonstrated..four things that were tweeted.. John Jerry has been at right guard all week, and has been looking better every day.. Randy Starks has fully practiced and will be making his debut...Damn, we've been p,saying without the franchise player and dominating, wait"ll they get a load of us with Randy. Jamar Taylor practiced today... Daniel Thomas got more first team reps then uge
Are you sure? I seen him posting in the PoFo and defending Republicans. Any foreigner has no business defending any American politician unless it is a Democrat or my Uncle Bernie Sanders. Also I asked him once if he was Canuck. My mom was a Canuck. Padre said it was none of my gawd damn business. Heck, him and me maybe shirt tail relation. Also, if he were a real Canadian, he'd say 'aye' all the time, like the McKenzie brothers and my Canadian uncles used to do.
You're a cool dude in a cool mood. Thank you for being proud of your Canadian heritage. Aye Unlike the Padre...aye
upgrade? This feels like buying an Iphone with a letter at the end of the model # and realizing I've been duped!
I was about to start a "Training Camp 8/23" thread just to piss everyone off... but thought better of it.
I'm east coast, but I did spend 4 years out in Burnaby. This Canadian Bacon? Or This? Or Padre's Canadian Bacon? "We got ways of making you pronounce the letter "O""
