1. Roy Schuening, Oregon State Height: 6-4 Weight: 306 College stats: 50 starts Vital numbers: 26 bench reps If Branden Albert was at guard, Schuening would be the second guard taken, but probably not until late in the second round. He can anchor and stop a bull rush, play with great toughness, and try and finish on every play. He will struggle with inside speed players who play the leverage game. He reminds me of the two guards in Tampa Bay -- Davin Joseph and Aaron Sears -- who establish the inside running game and protect the midline launch point in the passing game. Draft projection: Round 2. Schuening: Combine highlights 2. Mike McGlynn, Pittsburgh Height: 6-4 Weight: 311 College stats:42 starts Vital numbers:30 bench reps McGlynn is a tough competitor who will bring it every day in practice. At the Senior Bowl he jumped out at me as a physical snap-to-whistle player. He can survive at tackle, but at guard he could be a 10-year starter. Any coach looking for a guy who loves football will take McGlynn higher than projected. He reminds me of Matt O'Dwyer, a guard I had when I was with the Jets. Draft projection: Round 2-3. rest of story http://www.nfl.com/draft/story;jses...0d5d807bafd0&template=with-video&confirm=true
