They licensed the Unreal3 engine and accused Epic of not giving them the tools and support they were supposed to receive as per contract. So they pushed the game back (about 2 years) and built their own engine from the ground up. Now there's some kind of legal crap between them and Epic over damages.
graphics are good not great(but look really good in some spots) the combat system inst too bad its kinda fun to tear into the bad guys. you start off with a gun for each hand and a sword. I don't like how you cant turn the camera as your walking I kept wanting to look around and really couldn't. Perhaps more as I go along haven't finished it yet.
Its not my kind of game but I don't know if that means anything for you or not. Its a straight path game and I Usually don't like those kind of game unless they bring something really different.
so I played the demo last night, and I think I might pick up this game. The story was very confusing for me though I have to admit. I felt lost at certain times in the demo. But I think I could have a good time playing the online coop with a few friends.
