I've never been much of a Hagan believer, but it is his third year so I'm ready to give him one more chance before officially labeling him a bust.

If hagen turns it around that would be huge for us, he was always touted as a possession receiver, the guy who was supposed to have great hands. If he does turn it around, put him in at slot and we've got a third down guy we can count on. Wow the implications there are great for us if this is true.

A developed Ginn and Hagan, along with Wilford would be a very decent WR corps.

Hagan has a knack for getting open. If they can get Hagan consistent, I mean I don't expect it, but it would NOT shock the hell out of me if he became a #1. Seriously. Kid gets open.

That's really been his strong point since becoming a Dolphin.

People think he's a big slow possession receiver. He's big, not sure about his possession since his hands are suspect so far, but IIRC he runs pretty fast. 4.45 according to nfldraftscout. That isn't THAT slow.

We'll definitely have to wait and see when not only the pads go on in TC, but also during games. From what I remember, he impressed during last years camps too.

Great point, as have many other players that never were able to continue it into full speed and contact competitive levels.

I remember a guy named Robert Baker that looked like a complete star in camps for about 3 years with us that always dissapeared when the pads and full speed practices came on.

Nothing coming out of these camps mean a thing right now.

Exactly, that to me is his largest flaw, he can leap a yard and a half into the air, and then surprise himself that he is up that high, then drop the ball.

I'd love to see Hagan have to run over the middle routes and just learn to focus on catching the ball while getting nailed.

Could you imagine Hagan catching passes, Jason Allen shutting people down and Channing Crowder not over-persuing plays?

I think my head would explode.

Yep. This is the season. Hopefully he will have the ol' third-year breakout season.
I'm one of the few guys here that has not been really hard on Hagan. I remember how good he was at ASU and I am just waiting to see that with the Phins.

Sparano has said all the right things but the proof of what he is saying is right and if this team will/IS buying into those words remains to be seen..

Seeing how this roster unfolds and how they jell during the preseason games has most Dolphin fans sitting on the edge of their collective seats..
