Yes but can understand, Like Joe Gibbs had tragedy this year, remember Tony lost his son a couple years ago. So it has not been easy on Tony. He is a great coach and a good person. And guess it is best to go out on top also.

Yeah, he has been thinking about it since his son committed suicide. Dungy is a very good coach but a better person.

Caldwell would get that job if he steps down.

1st coach to defeat all 32 teams. Hope he repeats as Super Bowl champs on his way out...

It wouldn't be all that shocking. Back in his Tampa Bay days he pondered retirement to go and be a prison minister. He also has 3 other sons and 2 daughters. I'm sure it must be killing him that he thinks he could have done something to prevent his son's suicide.

Tony is a real classy guy I hope he beats that scumbag up in Foxboro and retires as a back-to-back Super Bowl winner.

I always cheer for the Colts when we're not in anyway though, as they've always had the best shot to beat the Patriots.

Tony is a very religious man, and I know football is not really his main calling. I am sure there are many other things he wants to do with his life.

Hes done about all that can be done in the NFL, he's not very old but hey if he wants to go do something else who can blame him? He's a HOF coach IMO.

I am a huge Tony Dungy fan. He is probably one of my favorite coaches in the league. He always conducted himself with dignity. Dungy is not only a nice guy but an amazing coach. One of the smartest things he did was focus on Defense and left Manning's offense alone, and now has arguably the best team in the NFL. Definitely deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Build a Tampa Bay team and coached an Indy team to the superbowl. I have always been a Colts fan 2nd, partly because my best friend is a colts fan. Also, I love Manning and his style.

Tony Dungy is the LAST person to deserve a tragedy like his son dying.

And it'd be cool because that means Pats won't. Dungy's had a very good career and he's a classy guy. I hope he goes out on top.
