New HC Rick Dennison had his eye on specific coaches to come in and coordinate his team, he landed those 2 exact guys yesterday in O'Brien and Fangio. Dennison formerly of the Baltimore Ravens targeted talent from succesfull organizations that brought along a winning culture, one he hopes to establish in Tennessee. "Everything must change" said Dennison, "the attitude in this organization from the owner right down to the groundskeepers". Dennison has the backing of one of the better GM's in the league, and with this current roster?? They will need all the help they can get. O'Brien formerly of the NE Patriots spent the past two offseasons studying the spread offense, it appears that the Titans offense will be fast paced and uptempo...."Your Wrs need to be quick in space and sure handed for this offense" something Titans WR Kendall Wright can get on board with. "This is perfect, this is what we needed...everyone is very excited about the future here" Wright who has played well despite the multiple offense and the general ground and pound attitude that's has taken precedent of this organization. "We are going to throw the ball, we have creative minds and capable playmakers on offense" explained GM Fin-O. Speculative minds believe Tenn will use the #2 overall pick to select a QB of the future, and the projected 45M in cap space on defense. The Titans have good young talent on the offensive side of the ball to go along with a very productive OL. Now they just need the defense to catch up.
Some people point to his solo work, but I'm personally fond of what he did with Edgar Winter. Beats Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo, though the stuff he did in the 80s was interesting to a point.
I'm sure the Bears wish they would've chose him over Marc Trestman, all that talent for nothing. On a serious note while reading up on Dennison I was impressed with a number of things, his aptitude stood out the most. Smart people tend to do smart things, Joe Philbin for example, is not smart.
