When Tony Kornheiser starts talking on Monday nights, we can have a scrolling warning that reads, "CAUTION: In two years of work here, this man has never said anything that has added any value whatsoever to a broadcast, and we seriously doubt that he's going to start now."

That caution is WAY overdue.

Milen DOES have four rings as a player, and was widely praised for his commentary prior to taking the jobs with the Lions. In fact, his outstanding work as a color guy is probably the main reason he got his job from Ford. He knew what he was talking about, at least from a player's perspective.

At this point though, his prowess as a GM is so badly tarnished that it HAS to make you question anything that comes out of his mouth. But, over time, he will be accepted again as a color guy.

I thought this was ridiculous. It was a lame attempt by the local nbc affiliate to attract some attention to themselves, and their stupid website for people to post comments. They do their news broadcasts the same way, try and turn everything into a circus. Cant stand watching the station around here. Besides, youre a local NBC station in DETROIT. people know who matt millen is, theres no need to run that nonsense across the screen everytime they showed him. Everyone knows he was the president/gm of the team for the worst 8 year stretch... blah blah blah. Try putting blame on the real problem, and thats William Clay Ford... the incompetent owner of the team. He's the real moron for continuing to let Millen do the job year, after year. If Ford's son hadnt spoken up in public this season, I wouldnt be surprised to see if Millen still had a job... As for WDIV... they are a joke. Their news broadcasts are awful, and their sportscaster, Bernie Smilovitz tries to make a joke out of everything, and its nowhere near funny at all... EVER. Anyways, im rambling. :lol: I just hated the fact I had to watch that message on my screen all afternoon... its super bowl sunday... and thats the story they want to run... come on...

Thats great! Very funny and I think the lions fans deserve a good laugh while not watching their own team
