Just watched it on DVR. What a joke. I don't know why I allow myself to ever think this organization is going to be relevant again.
Always have a chance to collapse, take the sack and shield the ball (Brady does it all the time) which is what he should've done.
Such a joke of a loss today! Wowzers. Tough one to stomach. Like ruins the season kinda infuriating. At the end of the day though, Tannehill is going to go home and bend over his model wifey Lauren! Doesn't matter if Miami wins or loses. No reason to let myself/ourselves fret over these games/ruin sundays when we have zero control of the outcome. Least that's what I keep telling myself week after week! All is good. Time to go bend over my sexy fiancée. Yes sir
You are right, there is a lot of blame to go around and none of this blame is the fault of the fans. If players want fans to show up at the game and cheer them on, they need to start winning games at home and stop finding ways to lose. I was at the game today and like you I wish more fans were there. I just can't blame anyone who has lost faith in this organization over the past several years. Ross has continued to support a GM who clearly has shown that he is not up to the job. The coaching staff has not improved as a staff over the past year and six games they have been together. Philbin is being shown to be a very mediocre HC who doesn't seem to be able to get the most out of his players. Since this is my last year as a season ticket holder because of my move after the first of next year. I will continue to go to the final five home games and root for the Dolphins, as I have since they came to Miami in 1966. I just don't fault those who don't want to pay a lot of money to go and watch an inferior product on the field. Consistent winning is what is needed to get fans back into the stadium and to generate the kind of atmosphere which will make attending the games exciting. I just don't know if the present owner, GM, and coaching staff have what it takes to make this team into that type of consistent winner. I'll admit that I don't have any confidence in the group now guiding this organization. In fact if I had not already purchased four season tickets this season, I doubt I would be attending any more games this season. When I look at this Dolphin team, I see mediocre and I'm tired of mediocre. As far as crowd support going forward is concerned. If the Dolphins lose to the Patriots next week and drop to 3-4. I suspect there will be a lot of empty seats in the stadium when the play the Bengals on Thursday night in a little less than two weeks. I know you and I will be there, but I suspect there will be a lot of empty seats around us and the rest of the stadium.
im sure CK will break down the times at some point this week, but im betting THill didn't even have 3 seconds. Is that our new strategy next week? First read isn't open, collapse immediately.
When the pocket is going to sh-t that fast from every side like it did on that play, just duck and cover the ball. (Especially in that game situation protecting a close 4th Q lead with a scrub QB on the other sideline - don't try to do too much if you don't have to.) Happens a lot.
I won't argue your point, but I think your order is probably right. The fan base should be the very least of the concerns at this time. Putting a quality and winning product on the field is the #1 priority and that begins with the owner committing the resources necessary to hire the best GM and coaching staff money can buy. The GM hopefully will be effective in his job and provide the coaching staff with an abundance of talent. This all starts with a franchise QB. Right now Tannehill remains a HUGE question mark in this area. Once the consistent winning starts again, the fan base will return, because they always do in South Florida. Only when all these things take place first can getting support for an upgraded stadium even have a chance in South Florida. If fans don't care about the team, they are going to care even less about the stadium this team plays in. Ross needs to get his act together as an NFL owner or he needs to sell the team to someone who hopefully will know how to run an NFL organization.
It helps when you have a quality HC and a GM who knows how to draft and sign free agents who can come in and make a major contribution to your team.
Great teams win Super Bowls. Good teams make the playoffs. Right now KC is merely a good team that will probably make the playoffs this year. If you want to see a great team. That would probably be the Broncos this year.
I got laughed at when I said I would want Andy Reid as our coach. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
KC is the second best AFC team. They're great, the only team that is in their way is Denver, and even then, I think KC splits the series this year against Denver. The defense is that good and the coaching is that good. We're nowhere in KC's level, which makes me wonder if we have any chance at a wild card. KC would blow us out.
The team must finish with a better record than last, if not there will be no fanbase left that will support the team at the stadium, he will be forced to make a change and have the mental skills to recognize the right dynamics for this franchise..
They're winning with defense. an unencumbered defense..... i.e. a healthy one. I don't see much difference between us and the Chiefs when our defense is healthy outside of the occasional sloppy plays that really hurt us.
Looking at your avatar, you are a really hot lady, so when you talk of bending over your fiancée are we talking lesbian strap on stuff here?
