For the first time ever (seriously) I'm thinking about finding another team to root for. It'll probably pass, but this as pissed as I've ever been at this cluster**** of a franchise. Home game, division rival, bye week to prepare, the other team is 2-4, down to their 3rd string QB, and both RB's hobbled. Simply ****ing inexcusable....
Not counting the last 3 plays, the dolphins ran 9 passes and 3 runs with less than 4 mins in the game with a lead. WTF????
I never said it wasn't a team loss. I never said this loss was on Tanny. I said he played like ****. And he did. If you want to give excuse after excuse for him that's your business. I know how ****ty other parts of he team played. I know how ****ty Tanny played. It's simple.
**************************************************************************************************** I HATE censorship.
My emotions are used to this. Still not a smart call and especially when they ran the ball fairly well today.
yep, at best. Looking over the rest of the schedule, I can see 2 maybe 3 wins. And yet Ireland will be here and Philbin gone. Brilliant I will only believe Ireland is gone, when he is GONE
So everything else he did was ok? If you want to blame what he does on other people, we can blame that first Gibson touch down on Gibson. Not Tannehill.
Dude, don't kid yourself. If we had a load of talent and just had a run of bad luck, or if we had an elite QB, then maybe we could climb back into this season. But we don't. We have a QB that lacks something, some intangible that would set him apart from the also-rans. We have the worst O line in the NFL. We have mediocre RBs. We have some very good WRs but the QB doesn't have the time to throw to them or the talent to make the most of them. We have a defense that isn't bad but can't win games on their own---nowhere near good enough to overcome the bad on the offense. And most importantly, we have incompetent coaches and a bad GM. We're not going anywhere. The season isn't over, but the Dolphins have shown they lack the talent to do anything this season. It's painful to have to realize this so early in the year, particularly when we have a mathematical chance, but there it is.
We just lost to Thaddeus Lewis and no running backs @ home coming off a bye. Did you seriously throw the scenario of, "If we beat the pats"??
the Jets just beat the Pats on the biggest BS call ever. Pats got called for pushing the line forward on a FG attempt which you cant do anymore. Jets kick a FG 3 plays later
This season is over. This offensive line cannot get it done, and it pollutes the entire offense. They are not physically capable of executing as they are instructed, so they won't get any better with any amount of coaching.. We should not be in this position. How bad the line was should have been obvious to the coaching staff in training camp. We should have gone into desperation mode and thrown the wad at any proven linemen we could have traded for. We chose not to. This is the result. All we can do now is finish out, resign as many of our good people as need resigning, and spend the cap room Ireland has created on rebuilding the line through free agency, trades and the draft as our number one priority.
You are correct. Blaming the stadium is a joke. You can play in the worst building in the World, if you are winning and relevant people will show up. Today is the definition of what it's been like for a ****ing decade. I wouldn't show up either.
Bring your part of the crappy fanbase down here to make it 1001 fans. Then keep coming back and see how long it taKes before you get tired of it. I'm betting it won't be long.
Yep! The play of this team the last decade ran me off after holding season tickets for over 30 seasons.
Phins.com tweeted out Clabo was given an ultimatum...not replaced Well now, seems to have scared the hell out of him didn't it. Cut that mother****ing pos of **** now, no more talk, none of that, he is crap, his fmr prowess is quite gone, if Philbin does not waive or bench him, he is content with mediocrity and is unsuitable to be the Head Coach of the Dolphins. This falls on him...HARD...Sherman is 33% to blame, SpeedBump Clabo has a target on his back, that pos mof, if Philbin ain't seeing what we are seeing he is very removable.
Clabo sucks but we lost because we turned it over 3 times. Thad Lewis didn't do **** in this game. Shoot ourselves in the foot time and time again.
May as well cut Clabo and put some other scrub in. Couldn't be much worse. And it's not as if lack of Clabo will cost us a playoff spot.
Remember when were 3-0? Such great times. There are serious holes in this team. It hurts to lose when your defense dominated for most of the day. Still no improvement on offense. You just can't lose at home to this Bills team coming off a bye.
sure slim chance in beating the Pats on the road as long as Brady is playing we lose. 3-4 and Bengals up next, this is a tough stretch. every game is tough for an underwhelmed crappy team as miami
Given their history together, I'm afraid Sherman and Philbin are joined at the hip as for their tenure with the Dolphins. They will sink or swim together IMO.
The season is officially over. Wouldnt be surprised if NE is favored by 10+ next week. If they lose by less than 25 ill be happy.
Did you see my initial reply? Ohhh, I was so bad. I said the F word. And it wasn't 2 minutes before some mod edited my reply.
