I think his rep around the league has also taken a hit, and I'm not so sure he gets another chance right away or at all. If things turn out that badly no owner is going to fork out millions for him. It also looks like his last job didn't turn out so well either Dallas). I'll bet Arthur Blank is celebrating now that Parcells didn't take his team on in Atlanta.

I've said that I think this is one of the main reasons for the switch. I'm not a big stat guy, but one which is a very telling and one that always seems to correlate with winning is turnover differential(no surprise). If you look at all or most of the top teams in the NFL, you'll see that they're at the top of the league in turnover differential. It's no coincidence that when Pennington was our QB and we went from last place to AFC East Champs, he set a record for the least amount of turnovers. Pennington is a really smart football player whom really turns the ball over and that's what we need right now. We have a somewhat young D and we can't keep putting them in a hole or force them to have to stay on the field and get burned out. They just won't hold up for an entire season and we already have been seeing the effects, such as last week when the whole D tackled like a bunch of old ladies. Not turning the ball over will obviously help greatly in that regard. I think we will see a much more balanced team and it will probably do wonders for Henne to see how Chad P. handles the game in live action rather than in practice or whatever. He can learn a lot about how Chad P reads the D, etc and how he succeeds in not throwing the bonehead, game killing pick.
