Exactly, we're just fans and can both enjoy and stress as much as we feel like it. I'm personally incapable of just living in the moment, regardless of the situation. I'm one third in the past and one third in the future at all times.
I cant focus on more than one opponent. Especially now, with coaching changes and so many variables week to week. Lets get this one. Then we have an unheard of 4/5 At home to end the season.
No, it doesn’t harm anyone. But , calling games that are weeks away "definite" losses is not to be taken seriously.
He would be as backup to Baker and Long so that Van Ginkel can play on the edge full time. I suspect we might see Ogbah get snaps on early downs as he's a better run defender then Van Ginkel being used in obvious pass rushing situations.
Well, let's be serious. How can you say they're , "guaranteed" losses and not expect some backlash.? I think all would agree there are tough games ahead, but guaranteeing losses at this point is silly. About as silly as guaranteeing wins against those teams. Call me insane but I'm taking the wait and see approach.
My brother in law who is a life long Dallas fan and I were talking about the upcoming Christmas Even game. He was saying Miami and Dallas are essentially the same team this year. Feasting on the teams they should beat, and so far not getting it done against winning teams. Someone will have to win that game. I like that Miami has home field advantage for this one, as they haven't in any of the other big games they've had so far this season.
OK, I can call you insane if you want, but it seems rude. Then again, about the same level of rude as attacking someone for their opinion rather than just arguing against the opinion.
It will likely be a close game, and like most times where that's the case, injuries/health will play a part in who wins. Dallas lost at AZ, and then got destroyed at SF. They're a good team on both sides of the ball, but not an epic one. They also have to play the Eagles and Bills right before they face us, and have the Lions right after, so they could be worn down and possibly looking ahead to what for them is the more important game.
The problem I think we're going to have with Dallas is getting any pressure on the QB. Their O line has protected Dak pretty well and our D line may have trouble without Phillips in there. It may be a fraction of a second, but it's enough for someone like CeeDee Lamb to get open.
That means every winning team in week 1 is an absolute loser...the team they beat is a winless scrub of a franchise, LOL.
Fine. I will not, no way , no how, agree that the contests featuring the Dolphins and Ravens - as well as the Dolphins and Cowboys- are games that will ( beyond the shadow of a doubt), result in guaranteed losses. Make no mistake, this is not to assume - by any stretch of the imagination- that I'm therefore guaranteeing victories in those aforementioned contests either. That would be absurdity on my part, so I choose to refrain from such comments. Thank you for your time.
I think they will win every game. Everytime. That's why I always predict 17-0 at the beginning of the year.
I think we'll win every remaining game in the regular season, and I'm not just saying that to say it. I genuinely believe it based on the talent we have on the field and the leadership in the locker room.
Well, technically it's the truth since the opponent was below .500 when they played each other. If the Dolphins beat a team above .500 and that team went on a losing streak to fall below .500 , would it be fair to say the Dolphins didn't beat any team above .500 then ?? No.
And again, I do want them to win. Saying I don't want them to win because I don't predict them to win is just silly.
I really, really, really wanna be able to trot Mike White out there and rest all of our key players on week 17. We have put a ton of tread on Hill and Mostert, and I would love to give them a week to rest. I feel like Waddle has been battling injuries all year. Our secondary is finally in full force, and we look so much better there. Tua is the most obvious injury risk. I usually like to get starters some live game reps, but I think that this team is different. Hopefully, we can lock as much up as possible.
Agreed 100%. Everybody likes to get a bye for the first playoff game but if we could rest most of our starters the majority of game 17, it'd effectively give the same recuperative health benefit as taking the next week off. With that being said, I really really want to sock it to the Bills in that game.
Yeah, but....guaranteeing losses. ? I need all the positive vibes I can get. So, think about it and flip your decision. What's the worst that can happen. ? I don't know about you but I've been wrong before and I lived to tell about it. In fact I believe I was wrong twice now that I think about it.
Nobody guaranteed a loss. I said when I go through the schedule, I mark them as probable losses. I doubt we can win against Baltimore in Baltimore, and I doubt we can beat Dallas. Not because I don't want us to win, just because for Baltimore, they play better at home and we don't play that well on the road against good teams, and Dallas just because they look like their strengths go up against our weaknesses well. I hope to hell we win, and I'll be rooting for us to win, but when I predict what our record will be trying to figure out the playoff picture, those are the two games I mark as losses.
I'd like to see him in the lineup for the Commies. They'll have a little bit of a boost on D from the Del Rio firing.
I'm totally calm. I tried to explain myself in a calm and civil manner and he acted like a smartass so I put him on ignore.
I was just playing with you, partner. It's all good. Personally, I expect to beat both Baltimore and Dallas but I understand your logic. I'm not taking our difference of opinion like it's a personal attack.
