Chat Room Trivia Challenge Game time is Saturday 4:00PM EST First question will be asked at 4:10PM EST Edit 8/5 6:00PM : What I'm going to have everyone do is make an account on meebo.com Once you have done that I need you to put your meebo account name in this thread so I can add you to my friends list on there. That way I can add you to the room when the whole thing goes down. I'll have the chat room open around 3:30PM EST and will be inviting people as of then. This challenge is very simple but will take some organizing to get going. I will help with this but it's up to the captains to give me a time they can both agree on. What will happen is after talking to their teammates the captains will decide when the best time they can have everyone (or as much as they can) on at the same time so we can get into a chat room. I figure doing this Thursday around 10PM EST or around then would sound good but we'll see what everyone's schedule is like. The captains will give me the best time for their team (please be as broad as you can) and I'll finalize a day we're going to do this. The game itself is very simple. I will post a kind of trivia question in the chat room and the first person to answer it receives a point for their team. First team to 10 points wins. If AIM gives us any problems we'll find a chat room we can all use. Part 1: Get ahold of your captains and tell them when you're available. It would be awesome if the captains could have this to me by at least tomorrow but there'll be no exact time limit for this. I will be sending out PM's to every player to make sure they get ahold of their captain. Part 2 Everyone gets together in the chat room. i could probably get into one, don't think they'd all be blocked, my concern is being distracted by people getting mugged/shot/flashed/etc but i shall do my best edit: i know meebo works for me, so if theres some way to access the chat room through that i'd be fine
meebo seems fine, but i'd rather something we don't have to sign up for (where we can just go in as guests) but if I can't find a chatroom like that we'll go with meebo
What about Saturday? Would give a little break to the game but would probably be a lot more forgiving to each others work schedules. That and we wouldn't have to play at night. What do you think?
look at freaking Bob Uecker over here... I'm west coast so anything after 9PM eastern would be preferable. As for which day, probably doesn't matter this week, even the weekend should be okay... next week could be a different story.
I'm definitely down for tomorrow too. If SICK and BIG E give me the okay with a time tomorrow that would work for me.
If I don't get an answer by both teams by tomorrow afternoon I'm going to assume we'll do this thing on Saturday. If it Saturday at least it should be enough time for everyone to plan to be there. I'd think so anyway.
Buffet Busters does tomorrow night work for you guys? Wanna get this setup so we can get maximum participation. Figure a couple people not making it is okay but i'd like to have at least 70-80% from both teams show up.
I wont be available until 11pm EST weds and thurs night because of school. And friday night I work till at least 10pm EST. But I could do Saturday around 7pm EST. I know, I have a bad schedule.
The later, the better. Tomorrow night works best. I have games (internship) Thursday-Saturday. Thursday and Fridays games are double headers too (two 7 inning games).
Is 11PM EST tomorrow good? Is that too late for anyone? I'm trying to work around everyone's sched so this can be as full as possible.
I Work late so anything past 9 I cannot do. Sundays or Mondays work best for me but if you can schedule anything around 8 that will be fine anyday. How about Saturday in the afternoon?
I'll talk to GIK see when he can do Saturday. If at least 4 people from each side can agree to a time we'll go with that I'm thinking now though.
Tomorrow I'm free past like... 6PM CT. I can probably make myself free sooner if necessary. Saturday I am free before 4PM CT and after 10:30PM CT.

Okay so Marshall's Marshalls is locked in for Saturday 4:00PM EST. Skeet is for Buffet Busters and Trowa is out (sorry man I tried :/ ) but I'm pretty sure it's okay for denderfeliac. so if BIG E and Monst can make it we're going to go with that time.
when it gets down to the merge, i'm going to miss these little team piss fights... not that they won't happen after the merge when each member of BEBB gets voted off one by one... I digress....
considering my brother has been playing this i have been very very very fair IMO. If there's anyone who thinks I've played favorites with any team let me know because I sure don't. (and I know you weren't serious)
