for what it's worth, that picture was not a motherboard jumper. It was a gateway simplified picture of a motherboard jumper.
an actual motherboard jumper looks like this:

This is the third time I'm having to explain this to one of you guys.

He gave me a picture but since it's a small part wanted a better one and that's exactly what a jumper looks like. It's a diagram off Gateway's website not a "drawing" It looks like what it looks like.

As far as the J10C4 that's the name of the jumper. It's labeled under it but it is not the jumper itself. Why would be literally label his answer? The H&H is not the answer to your picture. J10C4 is. All I needed was Motherboard Jumper but the technical answer was a J10C4 Motherboard Jumper

extremely disappointing. especially after specifically asking if something was missing, and if it was a drawing of a drawing.

actually the techincal answer was "diagram of a J10C4 Motherboard Jumper". there is no way in hell we would ever come across that diagram. we could see 1,000 ACTUAL motherboard jumpers and none of them look like what they drew. they drew a diagram. and maybe if they didnt want to include the model number, then dont use a picture with a model number on it.

The rules of the contest specify to find a picture and draw it. A diagram is a picture.

heres my "picture" of a hard drive. all text would be removed of course.

If you type in J10C4 or Motherboard jumper it pops up in google and I said all I wanted was motherboard jumper.

That's the rest I'm going to say on this one. You guys can complain if you want I'm sorry that you guys aren't winning every single challenge. :lol:

It would've been accepted in a heartbeat. IMO the best one last year was JT's cajon which looked like a box with a hole in it.

well we couldnt type in either one because they left off the model number, and didnt draw a motherboard jumper.

Say whatever you want, I think Dender has demonstrated plenty of skill this challenge. Trowa's pic wasn't half bad either.

Not over yet. If you spent half as much time searching for the third pic as you have complaining about this one you would probably have it by now.

The point of this challenge was to find a picture that the other team couldn't guess and wouldn't turn up in a random google search. I say mission accomplished. All this is just icing on the cake at this point.

Smallest of victories? You expected the answer to be in the pic. You're actually bitching that the MODEL NUMBER (AKA the ANSWER) wasn't on the pic. Holy keerap, man. Get over it.

And yet that would be a picture on the internet, which is the requirement for this game, so I don't see an issue as long as it was approved by Jorden.
