i wish i could have seen everyones faces when we wasted our 2nd pick on an AFL quality QB.

 

Wasnt a very good draft anyways. All we would be talking about is how we blew it on Pat White.

I finally got in the chat through IE tonight and talked to some of the guys.
With all you guys do, NO ONE should complain about this.

 

I'm sure there will be plenty of good pic's coming. I for one feel so sorry I could not make it being it was 40 minutes from my house. but I could just not work it out.

 

Folks - I have pics. I have pics of their radio show all ready to go and everyone in their tee shirts. It was wonderful and I was able to present Fasano with his thephins.com tee we had made for him on the microphone and told him thephins.com was the best Dolphin fan site around and to share it with his teammates and their families.

Mike had them set up on the dance floor which was completely away from where he was talking on the microphone but they encountered difficulty after difficulty. Fasano was ushered out much earlier than we were told that he would be by some guy, who truthfully acted like his bodyguard, but I don't know that that's the case, and we were also told he would be back. I stayed there until almost 1:00am and he never showed back up. I'll post the pics later on. All and all, it was a resounding success for thephins.com more so than Mike's because all people could talk about were these tee shirts I was giving away and thephins.com.

Met the wonderful pastor and his wife Sue, John Gagliano (slappy8800) showed up and great fun was had by all.

I would certainly take the blame had it not been successful but, IMO, it was, albeit no radio show. It certainly wasn't Celtkin's fault - he was all the way across the country. I just got home from the hotel and couldn't log back on earlier because Mike's computer went kaput as well.

My friend Renee won a team signed football benefitting the Anthony Fasano foundation and he signed it right on the spot for her and with it came two tickets to the Dolphins/Jets game up here. And my new friend, brother Juan, (phins17) was there and gave me the hat I've been looking for (the grey AFCE Championship hat, which Fasano also autographed and which also came with a luncheon with Anthony Fasano. I have accepted his very generous gesture and will talk to Anthony when I go and let ya'll know what he says. He spoke about how happy he was to be a Miami Dolphin, how all the teammates and fans had embraced him so warmly, that he wanted to stay right where he was.

By far not the direction we wanted it to go in, but still a big success. And, yes, the fans there were NOT happy with the Pat White selection.

 

was fasano there during the draft? like did anyone see his reaction to the picks we made?

 

will there be another attempt of a show for day 2 of the draft? or will the chat room be available like it was all day yesterday?
