I doubt the Dolphins would have waited until the 5th round and the 164th pick in the draft to take a running back if they didn't think Miller was set to be their starting RB this year. Gillislee might be a better option than Thomas as the backup RB, but I certainly don't see him coming in and taking the starting job from Miller. The only Florida Gator I see having any impact on this years roster is Sturgis. I think he will take over the job from Carpenter because he is the cheaper option. Jelani will probably be used mainly on special teams and Gillislee might be the third down back, but that's about it.
