Oh ya i didnt know he was getting that old.
Also Cooley has higher receptions, yards per season, and tds per season. They have the same yards per catch. They came into the league the same year, Cooley has never missed a game while Winslow had the whole motorcycle thing and being suspended last year. Winslow makes 4,500,000 a year. Cooley makes 620,000. Jus sayin.

I think the Texans got the better of the Andre deal. They moved up to a top 5 pick, and have a shot at Crabtree. Also picked up a late 2nd, and 3 quality defenders.

Crabtree is more than likely gone by the 5th pick.

The Chiefs are looking at 5 players at the three spot.

Crabtree, Orkapor, Oher, Smith and.... dun dun duuuuuun

    Care to elaborate?

I got a Stud Pro Bowl DT in Shaun Rogers (He had 75 Tackles, 4.5 Sacks and 4 Pass Deflections last year). He will be the perfect compliment to the smaller, quicker Amobi Okoye.

D'Qwell Jackson along side DeMeco Ryans is a very, very solid LB core. Jackson could have easily been a Pro Bowler this year with 154 Tackles, 2 Sacks, 3 INTs and 6 Pass Deflections.

Brodney Pool gives me a Very good starting FS (I didn't have one before). He had 64 Tackles, 1 Sack, 3 INTs, 6 Pass Deflections, and 1 Forced Fumble and Fumble Recovery.

Plus moved up in the 1st Round, while getting a 2nd round pick.

I might have lost that Star power, but a team is only as strong as his weakest player and I filled a lot of holes with this deal.

Crabtree could also been gone by your pick. But Ive seen a few mocks in which Crabtree lasts until 5 or later.

I figure the Lions will get their pick of the top 2 QBs, if the Vikings don't like who's left they'll trade back and try to pick him later. Which would mean someone who wants Aaron Curry or Crabtree and take them second.

Which leaves me deciding what franchise tackle I want or if The Rack from Texas is worth taking at #3.

Damn Cleveland I wouldve taken Shuan Rogers he is maybe the best DL in the game.

Looks like one team is selling out to create a great offense(CLE) and one is selling out for a great defense(HOU)

I actually want to have a very balanced team. That trade helped me fill so many holes on my team as well as increasing the overall talent level on my team, I had to do it.

I have got some plans for my O, don't worry

Not really... If they draft Crabtree and pencil Walter as their #2... That's a good 1-2 combination. Maybe not best in the NFL, but it's still pretty good.

    Stats don't tell everything.

Since when is Crabtree automatically this great WR? Last time I checked he hasn't played a down in the NFL.

The D didn't win the superbowl. Wasn't it the defense that gave up the biggest play of the game to Fitzgerald to allow the Cardinals to nearly win the game?

Sure they had the INT for a TD but that was more Warner than anything, and they were throwing illegal blocks all the way down the field.

You NEED someone on offense to put up points. On Pitt that guy happens to be Holmes. You can be a playmaker without being a top receiver.

He is a playmaker. I agree completely. But they didnt make it to the superbowl on a high powered offensive attack. They made it with the stellar play of the D.

Wasn't also the D that ran back a pick for a TD in the first half all but taking the Cards out of the game? We could go back and forth on this all day.

I'm aware of that all I was saying is trading Andre Johnson away you lose your big playmaking threat.

On Pitt Santonio is their playmaker on Offense. He is their big play guy and it would be foolish to think otherwise.

Did you read the part of the post where I said that the INT was far more a horrible play than Warner than a good play by the defense? Also that it shouldn't have been a TD because of all the horrible blocks in the backs, clips, and so on? The defense was swiss cheese that game. To each his own though. :knucks:

I will agree that the main reason they made it to the superbowl was great defensive play.

Anyway I sent you a PM about DE's. I was going to hit you up on AIM but it says you aren't on.

It wasnt a bad play on his part though. He misread the defense. Every Qb does that. Harrison was playing farther out then he had been the whole series and it took Warner by surprise. But we are getting way OT. lol......and to think the Mod of this thing started it. I wonder why this is the only place he;s a mod.....:shifty:

True, but that's still a bad play by the QB. I dont think he even read the defense honestly. He just flung it at Bolding looking for the quick TD.

You're right though way off topic. They obviously have a great defense regardless.

Well he just went with his pre snap read of an all out blitz...and he was wrong.

Even still Fitzy would have easily brought Harrison down short of the goal line if Antrell Role wouldnt have been in his way, it was a 4 point mistake it gave Pitt a TD when all they wouldve had was a FG.
