You've been a busy guy. Suddenly looks like the Seahawks are trying to go aerial. Evans and Driver make a nice combination at WR.

Plexico Burress is now a Colt... He finally has the talented Manning throwing to him.

Reggie Wayne + Plex + Gonzo = crushing any defense in the NFL.

Nice work man. I've always liked Seneca though ... even back to his ISU days.

Sorry bro, I had to do this to fill the OLB gap that I made by bringing CJ in. It'll be easier for me to replace Shiancoe than it would have been to find an OLB of June's calibre.

    Essentially I traded...

    Ben Leber
    Shiancoe
    3rd
    4th

    For
    Chad Johnson
    Caton June

IMO Caton June > or = to Leber, and a 3rd-4th-Shiancoe is well worth it for a true #1 WR that we haven't had since we traded Randy Moss.

Alright let me try and break it down.

Best corner on Wayne, give Plax a gun and he is out of the picture, Braylon? I guess we'll double Wayne I mean he isn't going to catch anything :tongue2:. Dallas clark is a legitimate threat.

Only have to worry about Wayne and Clark. Plax is bound to shoot himself again, just wondering where. And Edwards couldn't catch a cold in Antarctica

I'll still listen to offers for Carriker but as it stands think I'll hang on to him. McMike can be had for a 5th and I put up Jacob Bell and Will Witherspoon.

Well that's probably part his fault and part the team. I mean seriously the Rams haven't been relevant the last couple seasons.

It's been a while since I made fun of I mean commented on some of the trades that have been taking place... so here goes:

Buffalo sending JUST a fourth rounder to Cleveland for Derek Anderson. Now, this is a great trade IMO for the Bills. Derek had a tough year last year, was it all his fault? I don't know... oh i reckon Braylon Edwards dropping the league most passes had SOMETHING to do with it. I really think Cleveland could have received more for Anderson.

Indy and the Giants... Indy sending a second round pick and LB Freddie Kieaho for Plaxico Burress... It's interesting, I guess the decline of the Colts (one of the more ethical teams in the league under Tony Dungy and Peyton Manning) is on the way.

I thought the Vikes acquiring Ocho Cinco for what they did was a virtual steal. Ben Leber? a third and a fourth... oh yeah and a seventh, wouldn't want to forget that.

The Browns redeemed themselves with the trading of Braylon and Cousin for T Gonz and Bob Sanders.

Kelly Jennings for Zach Diles was a major steal for the Texans

I thought the Bills trading down from 11 to 21, they gave up too much in adding in that third round pick, didn't have to.

The Rams trading all the way down from 2 to 22, receiving the oft injured Chad Greenway and a 2nd round pick was a mistake. Thought the VIkings really made out there, and I'm guessing they are looking at one of the two qb's that will be there, hoping for the same result as the 2008 draft with those first round qb's... one thing, those were seniors... these qb's in the 2009 draft slated to go round 1 are juniors.

I actually thought GB acquiring WInslow was a good move for having to only give up a 2nd rounder, a late one at that. The other four players kind of wash themselves out.

Then, Washington sending Cooley to Detroit for a much earlier 2nd round pick... thought Detroit overpaid there, when you consider Winslow is a better tight end than Cooley. (makes me wonder what I could get for Antonio Gates)

Texans just received Larry Johnson for a 4th and 5th round pick. Kind of a wash... yet I'm not sure why Houston would deal for LJ when they have Slaton already... Hey Houston, check out my trade block and see if there's anything you like for Slaton Mmkay?

Please note, the opinions expressed here in are not representative of the San Diego Chargers or their GM. If anyone took offense, then that's too bad... :tongue2:

Considering I have more options at 22 than 2. Greenway was injured his rookie year but has been great the past 2 seasons including being a pro bowl Alt this season. In my mind I got 2 first rounders and a 2nd. Also 1 player wont make this team a contender I need more players to do so.

Yeah Larry Johnson is nearing that magical age of 30, likes to abuse women and wants out of KC, what is a GM to do? There really wasn't a market for him.

Besides running backs are easier to find, some just have a shorter lifespan than others and you don't need a single feature back when you can go with a committee.

It was a good deal all around IMO. I have an overall solid team that just needs a few key players. I got Ocho and I'm working on another. Your situation is different and you need to add more high caliber players.

That trade made a lot of sense for the both of us.

That trade was an important one for us. He filled a big need for us and in the process, we received three draft picks which was a plus for us. Daphins was great to work with and we have no regrets of the trade we made with him.

and yet Tony G is sitting in KC on the market, you would think a second rounder could easily be thrown this way for a guy who is a sure fire HOF and still relevant today. It's not like he had a 1000 yard receiving season last year or anything

hmm...asking a 2nd round pick for an allpro player who wants to be traded, has one or two years left, and has expressed a desire to play for a team that can win.

seems pretty similar if you ask me.
