Definitely. I wouldn't move Stewart for anything less than a first rounder but KC got Lucas AND Stewart for a 2nd and a 4th.

All you have to do is look at the top where it say's "Panthers and Chiefs trade", or if that was too tricky maybe you could have referenced the words "Send" and "recieve".

I think its win-win....he filled two needs I was going to have to dump Lucas one way or the other (5mill cap) it was tough giving up Stewart but I do have a 1500 yard back who had 18 td's as my starter. Worked out well for both, now I have something to work with on draft day and have free's up cap space.

True. Like I said before, all that matters is that the GM's like what they've gotten and given. I personally would have asked for more than a second for Stewart. Then again, you can look at it like this; a second and a fourth for Jonathan Stewart - which is good - and you basically dumped a guy that you didn't want.

That's true. I guess its just me being really high on Stewart. I thought he was the best back coming out last year and I wouldn't move him for anything less than a first because that's where you originally got him.

 

Yeah, if this was a GM "keeper league" I wouldnt have moved Stewart. But I want to have the best team possible to go all the way THIS season.

 

Trade seems even to me. It basically ends up a first and third and CP unload major money and KC fills some holes. Giving DWill more touches can't be bad.

 

IMO Chiefs got the better end of the deal. Stewart and Charles will be a good young tandem and Lucas will give the Chiefs a good starting CB.

Gotta look at it like this because of how young Stewart is... will the Panthers draft the same caliber players with those picks?

 

They could sign FA that are similar caliber and still draft players with those picks.

RB is an easy position to find in the draft. And they don't need to spend a 1st round to do it either.

I wish it was but man with all the moves we make it would be hard as heck to keep up with all our players..

I drafted Jahri Evans in the 7th round in 2006, but did anyone think of him as a great starting guard when I did so? Nope...

Saint Greg drafted Brian Westbrook in the 6th round in 2002, but did anyone think of him as a Pro Bowl caliber running back? Nope..

If this were a keeper league, which I would love to see someone head but I don't have the time for that, then yeah... Good trade. But it's not so.. IMO KC won this one.

If they fail to do so, then that's too bad. I will PM every owner once, probably twice... telling them to check that list five times!
