Nice catch. But damn it, you're trailing but you're not dead. There doesn't seem to be a sense of urgency. Just kinda jogging back lackadaisically.

8 years and counting. J12 throwing it beyond the line out of bounds, is also now hurt.

I agree, had he forced back for the ball, he would of at least gotten a PI call because of more contact. No fight in that guy.

Canes players just want to take it to the locker room and tweet, I guess.

Randy Shannon: “Right now we’re not doing anything offensively or defensively. We gotta go in and correct the guys as coaches.”

Says they can make up in technique what they lack in emotion. Ouch.

If only we played with discipline we'd only be down 14 at the half and would of had good time to score again. Thanks McCarthy.

Never walked out on any of my teams in my life.... that's twice in one week now.

I criticize South Florida sports fans all the time but I hope the Dolphins & Canes get empty houses the rest of the way. I'm considering contribution to that.

You can't complain when you actively do all you can to kill the U mentality.

The good to be drawn from all this is, a bunch of kids got scholarships to come study and have fun at the U. That's about it.

More or less. I’m glad they’re getting a good education (:theu: now ranked as the best university in Florida this year) but they need to bring it on the field, too.

Programs like USF make a killing off players who don’t qualify academically at other schools. There’s a reason you bend the rules a little bit for athletes, because your sports programs generate millions of dollars in revenues and donations.

Yeah, and Miami beats Ohio State if we pick off Pryor's overrated garbage *** the 5 times he threw the football into our defenders bread basket.

This program is dead, IMO. It's pretty much done. Won't ever get back to championship level. Hell, we can't even compete in the most average "major" conference in college football. At least not for another 10-15 years or so. I'm pretty sure Shannon will be back next year and for the duration of his new undeserved contract.

Of course he’s going to be back next year. Shalala isn’t going to say “Whoops, we made a mistake” by hiring a new head coach one year after extending Shannon. Not unless the boosters get really pissed off and let her know it.

We're a top 20 team. It certainly could be worse.

And keep in mind, before throwing Shannon to the wolves, that its next to impossible to build a program into a perennial championship contender if you're clean. This team would be a lot better with Patrick Paterson, Bryce Brown, etc.

I mean there was contact from his hand touching him. But he didn't turn the WR or impede in anyway of Benjamin going after the ball...

Yes he did dude was pushing him with his other arm while not looking back for the ball, but as long as they call things both ways it's fine.

Exactly, there's to much talent in Florida for FSU and UM to not return to promise land. Problem is, you have to coach the talent, whether we like it or not.
