I'm watching the fourth game of the preseason..2nd half..packed house, and their screaming for their third teamers, the third teamers are hyped, raising their hands, flying around, jumping on top of each other, making three and outs.. The stark dreadful difference I saw there compared to what I saw at sun life the ast two weeks is not only disheartening, it's at the point where it is a severe disadvantage for these players, no football team should have to play under these conditions, no wonder they looked lifeless and unemotional, this is a situation, and this team is going to have to face it, block it out, and somehow find their own sustainable energy to compete for a championship. The commentators are blown away buy it, saying and I quote, " nobody ever wants to leave this venue"... This isn't about their team, this isn't about how fans in Seattle support their team, this is about genius design morphing into a phenomon that is impacting positively the teams performance, their owners pockets, and their win totals. Just wanted to say that..
" If you think other teams are gonna come in here and be comfortable, with this crowd, the way this place is built, it's going to be awfully tough for anyone to come into this venue and win" They get it....wow..what a lucky and smart franchise.
8 and 0 last year at home...it's not a coincidence O, especially the contrast to the negative side when comparing it to our situation..it permeates the whole team, all the time, the body language is different, there is a heighten awareness amongst the players on that team, and conversely, a certain body Language amongst our team, its like they know they need to play hard, cause if they don't, its very easy to see.. I've never seen such a drastic difference when it comes to situations, it is extreme and debilitating..and if folks don't think it's something to overcome on top of the opponent, they simply don't understand, and that's ok, they can keep blowing it off like its no big deal, it's not gonna change the difficult task that it presents to this team.
I'm a fan of intelligence, and all the proof is right there to see, they know what they have in the design of the venue and their capitalizing on it monetarily, their team is playing harder, for longer periods of time, and most importantly, their opponents are being tangibly affected by the state of confusion the noise creates, which all results in the home team win column, there is a clear advantage there, and there is a clear disadvantage where we are, it's two opposite ends of the spectrum.. Payers understand, they talk about it, it's acknowledged, there is a reason why that team has the level of confidence and it does, and I know with every once of common sense that I have, that it comes directly from knowing what type of energy and atmosphere they will be playing in front of when their opponents come into that building..
