Miami completely owned the Patriots in their first meeting last season because they perfected and ran an offense that the league hadn’t seen before. I can’t see that same attack working this season, and I guarantee that every defensive coach in the AFC has come up with a plan to stop it. [/FONT]
Upgrading talent and being able to control the clock with a good running game fixes that. Lining up and knowing that we are going to run it down your throat...the Packers with the power sweep, '72 Phins with Csonka, Kiick and Morris. Even the Bills with the No-Huddle, they ran Thomas pretty much when ever they wanted. We get to that point with RB and Ricky and the Wildcat will tear defenses apart.
I don't agree with that at all and stopped reading the article. Has this guy watched any Dolphins football?
Thats okay, its still a threat the other teams have to keep in mind and guard again'st whether we use it or not. As the offensive line comes together as a unit, a smash mouth running game will do just as good and the Wildcat wont be needed.
