The Phillies win the Pennant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn it is good to be a Phillies' fan.
Bring on the best team that money can buy. :tongue2:
I am beginning to like the Philly's
Way to take down the Yankees West Coast Club, and watching Mannywood implode is very gratifying indeed
Now then, time to take on the very EVIL empire and send those billionaires back home crying
Noo!@!@!
I hate the Yankees but I hope they beat the Phillies down so bad the players all retire out of shame.
On the draft Quentin Rollins bandwagon.
I think I'm going to be rooting for the Phillies no matter who they face. I do want to see Pedro win another ring but not being a fan of any NL teams it's hard not to root for their team, they have a lot of talented likeble guys over there.
if i cared much about baseball phillies would be my team.
that said it is hard to not get excited this past year and this year, especially now.
i was at a game last year where they played the braves and they were down something horrendous in the score. they came back and won.
they're still doing that & they're on fire.
I think whoever faces them is going to have a tough time matching the score
i'll get off my non baseball knowing ass soapbox now

the Halos are not out yet
This world series could be renamed "Mets fans nightmare". The Phillies have done the impossible, theyve made me a Yankees fan for a few weeks. I hope the Yanks bludgeon that dumpy little team. My disdain for all things Philly (that are sports related) is surpassed only by my hatred for the jets.

Yeah, I just heard that this morning.
I am going to go spread some good luck karma on Torii Hunter's doorstep
If the Angels make it, sorry Philly fans, but I am all over their cinderalla story
They reviewed the story here in Dallas as the pennant race was going on.
When that nasty accident went down, a Drunk killed an Angels Pitcher, there was another dude in the pitchers car that was actually internally decapitated,......but didn't die.
Quite a storyline that is. I guess its been a clubhouse driving factor, an Angel willing on the Angels......and how appropriate they are currently playing the angel of Darkness :shifty:
That dumpy little team is in the world series for the second straight year in a row

I had to take a peak at some Met's forums and it sounds like many fan's worst nightmare....people are fighting over whether "You can be a real Met's fan if you root for the Phillies to win the World Series," But it seems evenly split between Met's fans wanting Philly to win and others wanting the Yankees to win. But the Angels are still in it and I think they could possibly win the last two in NYC. It's just too bad Bud Selig has to allow the games to run into November, when it could be cold and nasty out. Baseball should be over by the start of October.

I'm just going to think about their 10,000 losses.
I'm a San Francisco Giants fan (don't ask). All I have to say is......go Dodgers. LMAO

Ya, I know. Like Muscle said, I prefer to focus on the losses theyve accumulated.

Eh I cant see how any met fan would ever want the phillies to win, thats like rooting for the jets and dolphins. Wanting the Yankees to win is more like rooting for the jets and giants; most people dont but given the choice between a division rival and crosstown rival ill take the crosstown rival because my teams rivalary with them is much less significant since they dont play as frequently and wont meet until the postseason.
