Just to throw this out there for all the Patriot lovers (oh wait, are there any)? lol

The Patriots started with 8 Pro Bowlers (second most in the NFL) and 5 of the first 74 picks in the NFL Draft. They had 2 first round picks, 2 second round picks, and 2 fourth round picks.

Also you can't look at trades in a vacuum like that. I'll admit I came out on the worse end of a couple trades, but every single trade I made helped my overall team.

I included the relative trades to compare apples to apples... the guy made 153 trades... i wasn't going to include all of them. This is illustrative of his trading deficiency.

So, you think he won the Browns-Eagles trade then?

But the Eagles started with Mike Vick, who is evidently better than Tom Brady and his three Super Bowl rings.

I believe he kept both Haden and Mack, and that's why I didn't include them in my analysis. Since he turned players over like pancakes, I chose to include those players moreso than others.

Yeah, he kept Haden and Mack.

But, seriously… leaving out Quintin Mikell for 4.98? :shifty:

Hold on let me do a completely subjective analysis on your team ...

    ...

Devin Hester isn't worth a 2nd round pick. Paul is a horrible GM.

it was the.... 57th pick? At least in my more thorough analysis I included all the facts relevant, such as where each pick was. Also, I never called the Eagles GM a horrible GM... :tongue2: just that he had a trading deficiency... :tongue2:

I like Mikell... did you then trade him for something else? If so, I will investigate further...

He’s still in my secondary, still scaring the hell out of opposing QBs.

I think in the interest of fairness Paul should do a completely unbiased look at the trades of all 32 teams.

Paul, I expect your results by morning.

I must tell you... I wanted to go back and post all of my trades since when I started this thing four years ago. Just to see how I faired. I'd like to think I did okay. When I have time I'm going to do this. As for the rest of the 31 teams this season.... I just might do that... assuming each team actually updated their team page with all of their trades. Probably not... Give a grading analysis of each trade by team? Sort of a going away present from me to all of you

I find the trading aspect of this league the best part... and I take it very seriously in terms of who is voted for and why. The GM of the year is a different matter as I don't expect to win it.
