I had to go to an Abilities Expo for my Special Phys Ed class. Some of the stuff is just amazing, but the paragolfer takes the cake. This thing is just awesome. Ok ... I think I need a sticky calling for donations to get me one of these. The thing that concerns/confuses me is the Paragolfer "standing" apparatus. It looks like it would require the user's legs to bear some weight, which mine couldn't. Hmmm ...
At the show they said the straps are set so it should be okay? The stuff at this show was unreal. They had a wheelchair basketball game, and man they went at it. Than they played wheelchair rugby, yes rugby. The equipment is incredible.
Also known as Murderball. Ever seen that movie? I played a game of wheelchair floor hockey back in the day. Hockey sticks in spokes ... man it was brutal!
