Cloverfield.... interesting flick, crazy patriot fan seeks revenge on the city that stole their perfect season. Not bad really except for the occasional dizzy spell from the handy cam effect. Worth having a looksee if you haven't already.

"The Deaths of Ian Stone." Well worth the rental. It's billed as horror, but there's a nice supernatural story at work, too. Plus, the lead is the actory who played Jason Hawkins in "Cloverfield."

Just watched this movie, really slow start then it got OK and the ending sucked. The best part of the movie was Marissa's nips

No Country for Old Men. It was pretty good. I need some time to think about it though in order to make some sense out of it.

In addition to Indiana Jones 4 and a second go-round of Prince Caspian, I rented We Own the Night and Untraceable, both of which were pretty good.

Rambo IV. Pretty decent given Stallone is pushin 60+? I thought he gave a solid performance. The movie was short, but def. action packed. I've seen alot worse movies. I'd rate it a 7.5/10. Some wicked battle scenes, very graphic and gory.

Just got back from watching Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Good summer fun, I liked it better than Temple of Doom but it's not as good as either Last Crusade or Raiders. Really liked the plot of this one, acting was entertaining. Solid 4 out of 5 stars.

Casandra's Dream - If you've seen the trailer you've seen the movie. Has potential but Woodie Allen really mailed it in on this one. You know where the movie is headed from the word go unfortuantely.

Saturday night was Forbidden Kingdom. It falls in the same criteria as Semi-Pro.

Charlie Wilson's War - Tom Hanks and Philip Seymour Hoffman are both great, Julia Roberts is her typical overacting self, and it has lots of boobies and war

I finally saw Knocked Up over the weekend. It was really good, and I'm a confirmed fan of Judd Apaptow's writing. The only drawback was that it was the "Unrated Edition" which the movie companies always try to sell as "even more risque" but invariably just means "padded."

Went to The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian yesterday afternoon. Enjoyed it better than the first one, although it was still a little too kid-centric in some parts for my taste. Would have liked to have seen some blood, but it's a Disney movie so there are certain concessions you have to make. Good film, 4 out of 5 stars.

Yup its very kid friendly. I give it a 3/5.

I saw Indiana Jones yesterday had very low expectations, Alot of cheesey parts in the whole movie, CGI heavy. Though I was entertained throughout. It gets a 3/5 and is better than Temple of Doom.

The Strangers - pretty good scary movie, the charcters are just dumb as hell (even for a horror movie) which takes away from the movie a bit, imo. 3/5
