Even though the special affects weren't the most realistic I liked it, more so than Hunger Games. I don't see the writer of HG not having first watched Battle Royale.

In terms of plot/acting it certainly wasn't anything special, but the world it created and the visuals/scenery and CGI body and facial animation were superb.

The acting in Avatar was leaps and bounds above pacific rim. It was bad.

Movie on Netflix called The Comedy. I remember looking the trailer for it but forgot the title. Finally tracked it down.

If you like indie movies and have an odd sense of humor you will be glad you at least saw it. If you like exposition or resolution or any kind of clarity in a plot, I don't think you will like it.

It's a movie about aimless, wealthy, hipsters.
There is something in that movie that I have perceived: "irony" in its hipster form can sometimes be better described as emptiness

I liked it quite a bit. Hugh Jackman owns that role, and he's never quite immersed himself in the character as he did here.

Spring Breakers. One of the more ridiculous movies I've seen. But Selina Gomez is gorgeous.

Saw this too, not as good as Insidious but still pretty good. Initial build-up was awesome, my girlfriend freaked out and the whole audience was chuckling at her.

I thought the ending of Insidious was deflating to say the least. To each his own I guess.

I also finally saw The Conjuring... It was quite good, but not as scary as I had hoped... Liked Sinister a whole lot more. Definitely recommend that one if you haven't seen it.

I'll have to check out Insidious.

Yep, I saw that one too, thought that the ending was weak.

However, I thought it was pretty creepy, and that movie was RELENTLESS. You couldn't relax for one second before some other **** started happening, and the lawnmower scene was pretty awesome and stuck with me the most.

I'll take haunted house movies over gorefests all day, unless that gorefest is called "The Descent".

I saw Elysium. I thought it was good, however I thought it could have been great.
Jodie Foster's character is best as described as a " one dimensonal overly ambitious bigoted *****"
Amd Sharlto Copley is just "sociopath mercenary"

They did a good job, its just that the supporting cast could have been so much more given their talent.

and the message/themes in this film arent as subtle as they were in District 9.

I watched Now You See Me last weekend. It wasn't too bad. The ending could of been better.

I want to see the Conjuring but I'll have to watch it alone. My wife won't watch scary movies.

42 - It certainly didn't seem too long, and I know it was 2 hrs, but I just feel like they could have covered a lot more portions that I'd have found interesting.

Gangster Squad - I really liked it, even if there wasn't anything special about it (aside from perhaps Emma Stone).

A Company Man - There was a part near the end that I found rather predictable (perhaps seen too many movies), but overall I thought it was very entertaining.
Note: The movie is in Korean and has subtitles.

fun flick. Could have been a lot better though.
