I think it's a solid deal on both sides. Honestly, Schaub wasn't the key piece to this deal, it was Jackson.

Agreed. I only wanted Schaub to use as bait for a QB I really wanted...but then Rivers fell into my lap and I was like (well crap...cut out the middle man then ;p )

Yah. I've even got a nibble for Fitzpatrick. It's crazy.

Although I'm bored...haven't completed a trade in nearly 15 hours now ;p Got to the magic 10 and now ....pfft.

I shopped around for QB upgrades, but ultimately I think this was the best deal for my team. Manning should be the piece that makes this a Super Bowl team. I also think he could be the perfect mentor for Yates, who now becomes my QB of the future (unless someone makes me a good offer). Hurts to give away Jackson and Daniels, but Tamme's chemistry with Manning should help, and ultimately I thought it was the best move for my team. A fair trade from both sides the way I see it.

It's too bad we don't have a chat room. That way we knew who was around. Be easier to pull off trades on the fly...as opposed to throwing a trade out to a person who hasn't been online for 2 days o.O

That doesn't let me know your around though ;p Heck PM'ing me here sends me an alert to my phone. I've basically been making my trades by seeing whose posting at the time..and hitting em up lol

Too bad we don't make more use of ThePhins chat room.

you can see who is online and who isn't a couple of ways... if you go back out to the main forum listing, at the bottom there is a list of users currently online. Plus the little green dot next to my name and any name shows whether we're online or not. :wink2:

With the acquisition of Corey Webster....over. But once I deal with Fitz...under by a few million with cutting room to still go thru (ie: McGee's $4 million plus)

Up to an even dozen trades. Is there a badge for "Nutty Trader"? ;p (12th trade)

Thank you PSG though for setting the bar lower for CB trades :) Your a trendsetter!

FYI: My CB depth chart is now:

    Corey Webster
    Stephon Gilmore
    Josh Wilson
    Terrence McGee
    Chykie Brown
    Ron Brooks

I raise your secondary and move to motion my CB's are better:
    Champ Bailey
    Kareem Jackson
    Chris Harris
    Richard Marshall
    Aaron Williams

I'm assuming your trying to move Bailey though since Jackson/Harris are obvious starters. Heck I'm not even sure I'll keep all my guys (well I know I'm not keeping McGee..but even further).

I may move Bailey if the right deal comes along, as well as Marshall, but I think he'd be a solid NCB. I need safety, linebacker, and interior help. Badly.

Thanks, I either obsess on DB's or LB'ers. That's what usually happens when I do the GM League, I obsess on one position, solidify it and get depth, then trade my #4/#5, which would be obvious #2/#3s on other teams and get a position of need.

Yah...as much as I like Stephen Johnson in the middle for me and Moats on the outside with Bradham....I got to add some insurance to that group. At this point though...#1 WR, maybe a TE and some OL help and of course someone opposite Mario (but really who doesn't love having 2 pass rushers). All doable in the draft really.

edit: meant Johnson...got Jackson on the brain from the mains ;p

Yeah, I want to move up and take Damontre Moore, who I think is the best player in this draft hands down, but that probably won't happen.

I may not even be in the top 20 draft wise if my next deal goes down ;p

So yah if anyone wanted my #8 draft pick ...better make a move fast before this next trade goes down sometime today.

throw him in there with Manning and Brady as two who seem to get traded every year, it's tough being a starter in the league.
