Here we are ladies and gentlemen! The time we have all been waiting for! The POST SEASON!!!!!!!

first some news. Trading is over with until the season ends. I feel it would not be fair to have some playoff teams wheeling and dealing with non-playoff teams to make additions to the playoff roster etc.

As of right now playoff rosters are FROZEN!

Now moving onto the good part! The playoffs, first lets congratulate the following teams!

From the AFC

#1 Seed - Jacksonville Jaguars
#2 Seed - Cleveland Browns

Fantastic job this season fellas! You both are rewarded with a bye week, and homefield for the divisional playoff round!!! Well done!!!

The first wildcard game in the AFC is a damn good one!

The San Diego Chargers

take on the

Tennessee Titans!!!!

San Diego at 12-4 will be hosting the 10-6 Titans in what is sure to be a damn good game!!! We will all be watching closely, congrats on making the playoffs guys!!!

The 2nd afc wildcard game puts the 12-4 baltimore ravens (great turn around dupree)

at home against the new england patriots!

Congrats Dupree, after representing the afc in the superbowl last year, you have come back with a vengeance starting slow, and now being one of the top teams in the afc! Good luck! and congrats on scoring a cpu opponent in 1st round :wink2:

Now the NFC

#1 Seed - Lions
#2 Seed - Panthers

Congrats to both these guys on a bye week and homefield for the next round of the playoffs.......moving on....

The Packers

are on the road against the giants

in the first nfc wildcard game.

in the 2nd nfc wildcard game the seahawks

travel to face the saints.

it looks like every scenario except 1 has the saints going to carolina next week, and the 1 difference is if the seahawks pull off the upset and defeat the saints!

We shall see.

So here are my predictions since iam not playing this week!

Ravens 50+
Patriots 13ish

Titans 14
Chargers 17

Saints 48
Seahawks 28

Packers 34
Giants 17

good luck everyone! Any more post season discussion please bring it to this thread. thankyou!

Keep in mind, the Seahawks JUST beat the Saints a week ago!!!!

Man... Ravens and Seahawks after starting rough have a LOT of momentum heading into the playoffs. Real underdog teams who could run deep.

Meanwhile, the Browns have looked shaky down the stretch. The Lions are about to finally get their wish and start facing REALLY tough opponents.

This is the part where boys get separated from men!!

lol.

I love the playoffs.

Just an FYI I'm out of town this weekend.

On the draft Quentin Rollins bandwagon.

Patriots lost 63-9.

Ngata with 3 sacks and 6 tackles for loss, proved once again why he is by far the best player on the Ravens.

Barcley had 4 touchdowns

Utter dominance. And I am proud to say I believed in the Ravens when no one, not even the Ravens themselves, believed in them. lol.

I see now why you wouldn;t trade me Ngata. 31 tackles for a loss? Holy sh** is all I can say to that stat. I gotta figure at least three times that number of pressures and disupting blocking.

Ngata totally destroys whatever an offense is trying to do on his side.

Wow.

Madden needs a pre-snap button to tell the O-line to doubleteam a player.

Funny part about Ngata is the fact that he played half the season at nose guard. Halfway through the season he was pretty much sackless Then I moved him to end and his TFL and Sacks went up.

So, what you're saying is, I should move Kevin Williams to 3-4 end! lol.

You play Ngata on the left or right side?

Of, and on passing downs isn't he back at DT in a four front? He's not a DE in nickel and dime. C'mon. That big fat man?

lol.

For pass rush T. Price was better than Ngata. However Ngata is better than D. Harvey.

On ravens defense he is always the defensive end. He is the left side defensive end. He is DE on nickel and Dime. I wish he was faster or a little better at pass rushing, however he is good enough to stop people from having all day to pass.

They might be playing late tonight, very anxious to see that outcome.

And I am proud to say I believed in the Ravens when no one

"With the second half of their schedule much easier the Ravens could quickly climb back into things and wipe the grin right off the Jaguars and Browns faces." I had faith in them too.

heh Good ol' Trevor Pryce. 43 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, forced fumble, and even an interception. Interesting playing you since I do have Pryce, Figurs, Makino, and Rolle while you have Holt and Harvey.

For those of us not in the playoffs, it's gonna be a long wait before we get to do anything (especially with no more trades allowed).

Because of that, could we really be proactive about getting Nappy to play his game or sim it this week? I know he's gone AWOL and never showed up to play the last couple games. He's dropped off the face of the earth a bit (understandably).

If we start trying to get in touch with him now, maybe the game will get played in a timely manner.

If no one bothers to contact him, we could still all be waiting around in a week wondering if he's gonna play it.

So, who wants to volunteer to be the Nappy liason?

Only 6 sacks? Poor Trevor Price. I got to get revenge on you for all my stupid trade decisions :)

Harvey started a few games, however he sucked against the run and was replaced by Ngata. A. Barnes is the DE on the other side and does a respectable job at it.

I traded for Holt because I thought there would be a run on speedy receivers in the draft. I was very wrong. I had no idea that Marvin Blansit would be available in the 2nd round. In the last 3 games I decided to see what next year would be like so I started Blansit. Turns out I liked him as a started and replaced Holt.

So Holt is my 4th wide receiver. Harvey is my back up defensive end.

At least I do not regret getting rid of Figurs. Webb has been an amazing kick returner and a pretty good punt returner.

I was going ask about playoff rosters being frozen, see you read my mind. Will playoff teams be allowed to sign free agents? Not something like MJD gets hurt and Matt Forte is mysteriously released but picking up like a 60 something actual free agent. Not sure I would need to even if it was allowed but I'm curious.

So, who wants to volunteer to be the Nappy liason?

It seems you know him and his situation so... heh I don't think I've ever talked to him and no idea why he's been absent so don't want to be like, yo play your game fool. Maybe he's talked to Sick privately but if he hasn't and he's not able to play then he needs to give someones a heads up if possible. While we don't have to speed rush, there are people not in the playoffs and people who are eliminated that will be twiddling their thumbs, the faster the better.

heh I know, I just haven't produced many sacks this season. Ngata has more than my whole team combined actually. Amazing run defense, lot of pressures, but just not getting the QB down before he throws it. That's one thing I'll try to work on more for next season. Pryce does have an interception though which was funny. I'm hoping Rolle has a pick, Figurs returns one for a TD, Makino has a big day, and Pryce roughs up Flacco lol. Looking forward to our game (assuming EA brackets are static and we play or the Chargers win). I could go 16-0 then get bounced first playoff game, more embarrassing than the Patriots 18-1.

I honestly figured you would do much better with Holt than you have but guess you have a good WR group. I picked up a 69 OVR 6'3" rookie WR from the free agent pool that isn't bad, not sure where he came from. I saw in some other leagues where he got drafted 2nd-3rd round.

Here is my updated bracket. AFC side didn't change at all from my projected one a few weeks back. NFC side Giants moved from 4 to the 3 which was the Cardinals spot (didn't see CPU Giants beating users), Seahawks were added and became the 4, the Cardinals as a 3 were moved off.

I think it follows the actual NFL where the division winners are 1 through 4 based on record and tiebreakers, then Wildcard team with best record gets 5 and other Wildcard gets 6. So you have 7-9 Patriots seeded above 12-4 Ravens and 10-6 Titans because they won their division, and Seahawks/Giants above Saints even though they have a worse record.

Well, you may ask yourself how a team that loses 52-17 can claim that two plays changes the entire game.

I went into my first round game knowing that the Saints were looking for blood and that I had to play a perfect game.

Two plays in the first half put me on the road to destruction

1 - Big Ben was hit as he threw and a DE picked off the ball and returned it for a score.

2 - I fumbled at the effin 1 yard line! and the subsequent play (maybe 3 later actually) was a jailbreak screen and and 7 points for the saints.

The half ended 28-10, in my mind those two plays I had the chance to go into half with a 17-14 lead, or at worse trailing 21-17 (which would have proved a huge victory in my mind)

I went into the third down by 18 knowing that I had to get points on the board so I pushed and got out of the offense that I had some success with in the first half and ended up turning the ball over a total of 5 or 6 times and there is just no way to compete with a team of the caliber of the Saints giving them extra possessions.

good luck to the Saints the rest of the way.

Time for the Seahawks to go golfing.

Darren Sharper 2ints

Crappy ur going to hate this but the guy who hit Big Ben and recovered Bradshaw's fumble at the 1 was non other than ex Seahawk KR Donfred Barnes who the Saints grabbed from the free agent wire during the season.

Bring on Carolina or Detroit cause Who Dat Nation is ready!!!!

Good season Crappy (hopefully no one is telling me good season in a few days) and grats moving on aboome. If the Packers or Titans win I'll be curious to see if brackets are static or not.

Well that was fast.

I think I want to be the Jets next season. Before you all kick me in the balls over this, hear me out. I'm gonna lose all player games and probably most CPU games. I may as well do it with a team everyone likes to see lose :)

So?

EDIT Not to mention the headlines in the media: Jets Hire the Worst Coach in Philly History, Coach That Took the Playoff Eagles and Dismantled them Joints Jets, Rex Ryan Fired and Replaced by The Mor?

yesssssssssssssssssss
