I am keeping an extra eye on him tonight because of your comments alone, and I see everything you were talking about. He's been KEY without the stat sheet.

We were all so ready to dump Haslem in favor of Beasley next year while forgetting how much UD contributes on D and how in control he always plays.

 

Atlanta cant beat us at home.

 

haslem, limited as he is offensively, has always been that way.everytime we dont have him playing we suffer. until we have someone on the team that can rebound and play post-up defense, might as well keep him around and put Bease at the 3, where IMO is where he belongs. Hes just not physical enough to handle other PFs like Haslem can.

 

Never. Haslem always has a place in this rotation.

Beasley will start next year... no doubt. But 5 guys don't win in this league. You need at least 8.

 

And where is Section? I want to eat some crow.

Kept an extra eye on UD tonight and he did everything Section said he was capable of. Al Horford got his, but Haslem prevented him from completely going off. He played him extremely well. He also hit some major timely shots down the stretch the two times Atlanta cut the lead to 5.

 

I think they went from last game, straight to the gym, and shot 3s for 40 hours. Got 3 hours of sleep, chugged a coffee, and came out to warm up for this game. lol

 

I am still pretty upset about Josh Smith hammering our guy to the deck after the play, Chalmers TALKING crap, and a double T being called.

 

Dear Atlanta,

Next time you go up against an All-Star and say you have him caged because of one bad game, it would be wise for you to do the following:

A). Remember that you're going against an All-Star
B). Remember that you're in a SEVEN game series, not a 1 game
C). Keep your mouth shut.

i didn't realize at the end of the game (when wade dribbled out the clock), that he gave the ball to t.i.

Atlanta and Charlotte announcers have got to be the worst homers in the sport. I had the "pleasure," of listening to both this season and wanted ti strangle someone afterwards.

 

OK now I'm going to Game 3 as well as Games 4 and 6. Got my seats.

What time do you guys think the Dolphins are picking? I've never missed an NFL Draft in my life. I am too nervous to follow our picks via iPhone (because regardless of the Heat score, I will not enjoy the game knowing we just spent a first round pick on Clay Matthews), so I think I'm going to try and avoid it as much as possible and watch it over on NFL Network right after. No class until all four Finals next Thursday, so I can suffer an all nighter.

4 PM start... 6:30 PM for the Heat game... thinking I may get home by pick #25? Probably not.
