I won't be taking it back until he consistently performs, or at least has some type of streak of solid performances. Every player in this league is capable of having a good game once every blue moon. Means nothing.

BTW we added a 33% three point shooter to our line up, lol, I wouldn't exactly brag about that.

As long as we're winning, though, honestly, and I'm sure you agree... I could care less who is on the floor.

 

And fellas, I've been so caught up in Miami and Philadelphia that I've completely ignored this 3 game slide suffered by Atlanta. Miami and Philly are both TWO GAMES BEHIND Atlanta now. A few weeks ago we were both 5+ behind. Unfortunately, Atlanta's got 4/5 games left against teams under .500, however, if we are able to keep hot and Atlanta drops a game or two... who knows. Three of those games are on the road, and they are as bad as we are on the road. We play them on April 14th in Atlanta. Imagine if we've got the opportunity to steal home court. You know D-Wade's juices will be flowing.

@ Atlanta
vs. Detroit

Philly's final 7:

@ New Jersey
@ Charlotte
@ Chicago
vs. Cleveland
@ Toronto
vs. Boston

The home court is definitely riding with Miami... I think it's a MUST that we beat New Orleans or Boston, but if we beat both then we're a shoe in, IMO. I think Philly loses both of those games against Cleveland, and they probably lose at least two of those road games. Boston is a toss up. 4-5 losses for them in the final 7 is a possibility with that schedule, and they're done if so. Three losses (WHICH IS HIGHLY LIKELY) and a strong finish for Miami and we've got this. Those recent road wins for us were beyond HUGE. If we can pull out a 4-1 finish here then we're a lock, but I don't know. We've got to win out at home for sure.

Man, I did not realize Philly finishes 5/7 on the road, and the two home games are against Cleveland and Boston!!!! K.G. might be back by then, too.

 

3-2 for Miami and 3-4 for Philly and we're facing Atlanta in round one.

If we go 4-1 they've got no shot. They've have to go 5-2 to match, then win the tie breaker.

 

33% is decent for a player like Dwyane Wade or LeBron James, but for a guy who is limited in every other phase offensively, it sucks.

Anyways, I am with whatever wins. If Diawara starts the next 5 and we go 4-1 or whatever, then no complains out of me.

Philly and Atlanta are both down 10+ right now on the road. We've got to take care of business at home.

 

Entire team looks flat right now; Chris Paul with 3 or 4 steals already with 3 minutes to go in the 1st. 7 turnovers.

 

Yep... on a night that Wade chooses not to show up.

Maybe he'll show up in the second half. Otherwise Philly's current 20-2 run is going to put them back in 5th.

With New Orleans injuries and what's on the line for us right now, this would be a pathetic home loss.

30 first half points at home is inexcusable.

Chalmers is sucking on both sides tonight... terribly.

 

And he misses another wide open triple... Paul is running circles around him getting wherever he wants without a fight.

 

Now we've got Moon and Chalmers jacking up threes. Wade nets one!

Just give the ball to Michael until the 4th quarter (which is hopefully Wade Time)... he's killing it right now.

 

Down 6 heading into the 4th... we'd be down by 4 or maybe 1 if not for Wade's crucial turnovers on the last two possessions. Missed a wide open Moon on a break away alley attempt, and a poor pass in the corner to a 50/50 chance at James Jones nailing a three.

But the 4th quarter is a new ball game for Wade. It always is. I've got faith in a big one. There should be. We're at home in April here.

Layup drills for Chalmers please... he's missed 3-4 wide open layups tonights. If this guy ever learns how to finish he'll be special. Gets to the basket with ease at times. Can't finish.
