    What a great team effort..

Wade was incredible like he normally is, but mad props to Chalmers and JO for making big plays on both sides of the court.. We saw the JO of old... And I promise not to bash Chalmers anymore... I love the kid and today he came up big time in the 4th and in OT.

How about this fellas? We needed to make FT's down the stretch and we made them.. Great unity right now on this team, we are peaking at the PERFECT time..

    Lets go HEAT!!!

we are gonna be Dangerous...trust me when I tell you..that whoever gets us in the 2nd round is in for a rough series.

as for "who they want" Desides.....I have asked that question of my source and never gotten a straight answer...

I do know that Riley is CONVINCED that Chris Bosh is MORE of a player than he already is.

I was there, too. And since it's going to be the Wade love fest in here (AND RIGHTFULLY SO), how about that effort by Jermaine O'Neal today? 28 points, 8 boards, and 5 blocks!!!

Of course that idiot Ira Winderman is going to say... "it took him 48 minutes to get to 8 rebounds)

FYI - Dwyane Wade is now officially averaging 30 PPG for the season.

Sucks that he couldn't land the triple double. Should have lasted it out for a 4OT. :wink2:

Chalmers also really picked it up come OT. I felt his D on Williams improved as the game went on.

I get home, sit down, and I'm watching the game, and with 25 seconds left in regulation, down by 2... the recording ends...

I look online, and find out it was a ****ing triple overtime game...

**** my stupid piece of **** DVR... how the **** does it not know the game is still going?!? ****...

Beas did not warrant much playing time today.. His energy wasn't that great and the bench came up big.. JO, Haslem, Moon, James Jones and the rest of the team was playing in sync.. With Wade playing all of OT, I was fine with Beas on the bench.

Yeah. I was fine with the decision to stick with the ending line up; those guys got on a roll together.

Holy ****... didn't realize we have a ROAD GAME @ 1PM TOMORROW... Philly is tough at home, too. Quick rest for Wade, Chalmers, J.O., and Haslem who all logged 48+ minutes.

Coming off a 15-win season, the Heat's poor national TV schedule is understandable. But you'd think Wade's performance in the Olympics would have gotten the Heat a few games on ESPN at least. Portland fans are probably wondering where the hell their national TV presence is, too.

He sucks without Shaq shielding him... I don't care what anyone says.

Huge loss that we has in hand. Detroit catches us, IMO. 9 of the next 12 on the road.... We're gonna fall to 6th.

Udonis has played well...he is a 10/10 PF that plays defense. You are overdoing it with the Udonis hate.

    and as for Detroit....

    No they are not.

We will beat them both games we have left with them.

The 5 seed is a lock. worry about the 4 seed.

as for this game..what happened to Daquan Cook? a tooth extraction and he misses TWO games?

we needed him today. beasley was horrible today., and the team was dead. Even then..they needed to dust off Donyell Marshall to hit three 3's on us in the 4th to beat us.

    But yeah..again HD....Detroit isn't catching ****.

I apologize. I should have checked the standings... During the game, Tony said Detroit was only 1 game behind us. Boy was he off. He also called a Detroit victory over Memphis; huh? Memphis won. I've only been paying attention to Miami lately, which is unusual for me. I guess that's what winning does. :wink2:

I love Haslem, but it doesn't change my opinion of him as a player. I love his effort and all, but as a starting PF in this league he is definitely below average. Shaquille O'Neal did a fine job shielding him like he does with every other forward that plays next to him. Now that he's gone, you can see the REAL Udonis Haslem. Hell of a worker, but he has become a liability for this basketball team many times this season.

I've been focusing on Haslem lately since I've been attending more games as I did with Ted Ginn last year... in both cases, I found the average fan's opinion to be wrong. Ginn is a far better route runner than he gets credit for, rather it's Pennington who shies away from going his direction. Haslem is caught out of position more than any player on the team and he has been getting absolutely dominated lately by mediocre talent. Against Boston, that was probably the worst showing of his career defensively............against Leon Powe. He got hammered today as well.

I never pay attention to his numbers. No one else on this team really fights hard for rebounds, so they are going to be there for him by the numbers. Like I said, he's a hard worker. He simply has no business logging starting on this basketball team. He's not that good of a fit next to Jermaine O'Neal.

Simply put, U.D. just seems to make the dumbest mistakes in the worst situations.

But we've got to figure something out here... Wade goes to the bench up 70-62, comes back down 72-70. You've got Beasley sitting on the bench next to him with 5 fouls, Cook and Jones sitting there in street clothes, while Jamaal Magloire and Yakuba Diawara are out there allowing Philly to play 3v5 on defense. Wade scores 2 points the rest of the way and this team can't pick it up. Someone has to step up in those situations. I understand that Beasley was in foul trouble, but come on.

BTW - Where the hell is Daequan Cook? I know he didn't just miss TWO GAMES because of a "tooth extraction" right? OK. It's time to get rid of his lifelong routine of eating a bag of skittles before every shoot around if his teeth is going to force him to sit two important games.

We desperately need Cook in there, because right now we've got Wade shooting 4/17 from three in the last two games.

I'd be fine with us finishing 5th in the East at this point. Not that I expect us to completely flop from here on out (it's just one game on the road against a half decent team), but our schedule from here on out is brutal. Atlanta is playing GREAT BASKETBALL right now, too. I don't expect them to just fall over and hand home court advantage to us, and it's going to be extremely difficult for us to grab it from them.

Atlanta is an amazing team at home, though. But hey, we've got Dwyane Wade. He'll have at least one day off in between games.

You gotta admit though...UD has been clutch in his time here.

He always seems to make that one shot..that one play, when we need it.

I thought Spo's rotation was fine today, but Beasley ruined it for him. That was easily his worst game as a pro. Wade needed the rest.....and I understand that Philly is chasing us..but I think the Wednesday game vs. Boston is much more important.

Had we been ahead of Atlanta..I bet whatever you want that Spo rests Wade for this game today.

Wednesday is an important game...big picture wise. We win.....we are contenders..longshot contenders...but contenders to make the EC finals nonetheless.

I just realized that Donyell Marshall outscored our entire team 10-9 in the fourth quarter.

That is what bothers me. I expected us to come out flat and frankly, I thought we'd lose this game. But we had it in our hands...

TOUGH game @ Boston Wednesday night. K.G. has already been ruled out, but so what. Great team.

Philly is now RIGHT THERE trailing our arses... luckily they're on a West Coast road trip right now, but that didn't stop them from picking up a W @ LAL last night.

If we lose tonight and Philly wins @ PHX, then they're only a half game behind us.

It was just yesterday when Wade stated that his season goal is to play 82 games for the first time in his career. A day later without even playing a game, he's been ruled out for tonight's game @ Boston. You've got to be kidding me, Dwyane. Don't get soft on us now. Celtics will be without Kevin Garnett, Leon Powe, Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, and Big Baby... and Wade sits. So we'll have Wade sitting on the bench in a comfortable suit and Beasley logging probably 20-25 minutes. I'm guessing this is going to be a 71-70 type of game.

I already know that the coaching (without the "give Wade the ball and get the *bleep* out of his way" play calling available, which just happens to make up 100% of our game plan) is going to make me break something. Sounds like more national views for the underachieving (and a complete embarrassment to the program's "resurgence") Miami Hurricanes that will make an attempt at pulling one out in the opening round of the NIT.

Unless Paul Pierce goes off, we still have no excuse to lose. We're missing the best basketball player in the world, but if the other 14 can't come together against a completely depleted basketball team, then we deserve to get crushed by Boston or Orlando in the first round of the playoffs.

the word early today was that they were gonna wait to see what happened with Ray Allen. if he sat..then Wade would sit.

We better win..if not..this is a potentially disasterous move.
