Rodriguez going to Michigan and Miami winning on the same day means that, yes, Cameron will be back next year.

To be honest, with the way were slinging the ball around today, I was "certain" that Lemon would get picked.

But the Con Tiki is mollified with the burning of a David Boston Card, I was keeping a Harrington in reserve for the Cincy game....

Wonderful!!! I can easily live with 1-15 versus 0-16, such a huge difference between those records.

It will ease the sting if the Pats win out, though that will still hurt.

I think this gets Cam one more year, but that could be good news if Cowher wants one more year to spend time with his girls and recharge. That means if Cam tanks 08, then the Phins need a new coach just as Cowher is ready to return in 09.

I'd rather see Cam turn things around in 08 though, but it's time to enjoy this win and worry about all those things later...

Rick, I am glad that this time you were wrong, it didn't look like you would be, but this time....

 

This game reminded me a lot of the playoff game with the Colts in 2000...when Vanderjagt lined up for that FG in OT, I KNEW we were gonna lose, because he ALWAYS killed us. But when he missed, I knew we were going to win, because something like that doesn't happen unless this is just a day you're going to win. The wind went out of the Colts D and Lamar Smith marched right down the field and scored a TD. Just like this time...missed makeable FG, and then our team takes three plays to score a TD.
