As we all know, McFadden has missed three straight games with a toe injury. He was a gametime decision this past Sunday.

Let's post all updates here, cause this guy is a gamechanger.

JaMarcus Russel also missed the last game, but I'm not so sure if we're better off with him in the game or not.

Tanking is like taking a Greyhound bus cross-country. Sure, it may eventually get you where you want to go, but it’s messy and unpleasant and uncomfortable, it stinks, the entire time you’ll be wishing you weren’t there, and not everybody along for the ride is going to make it to the end. - Quote stolen from Deadspin

His toe was last seen around town sporting a wicked hangnail.

I'd rather face Russel. Infact, I'd very much like to face Russel without him having McFadden.

I think Fargas is more dangerous at the moment

Reports indicate that it then ventured into an unspecified building where it met with Herm Edward's brain and Bill Belichik's penis. The exact details of this meeting are still unknown but the toe is quoted with the words: "They both came up short".

I've seen bits and pieces of Raiders games this year. Russell is terrible. I hope he's under center on Sunday.

Breaking News: McFadden's toe was reportedly involved in an incident with Osama bin Laden's right hand. Apparently, the two of them performed a bawdy play of shadows in a house of dubious reputation in Riad. A spokesmon of the local police confirmed that the toe will be brought in for questioning and added: "It's a serious offense. I don't think the toe has a lot of wiggle room." The toe's lawyer wasn't available for a comment but issued a statement saying that it was merely a harmless play of tic tac toe.

What Turf Toe looks like

ow.

i'm nervous about him on special teams.

"A man's suffering is similar to the behavior of gas. If a certain quantity of gas is pumped into an empty chamber, it will fill the chamber completely and evenly, no matter how big the chamber. Thus, suffering completely fills the human soul and conscious mind, no matter whether the suffering great or little. Therefore, the "size" of human suffering is absolutely relative." - Viktor Frankl

I heard he's got turftoe on both feet, either way his career is over before it could get started.

Seriously? I have been the biggest critic of his since day one, but you think this ends his career? I seriously doubt that..

Turftoe is a very serious injury thats what ended Eddie George's carrer as well as OJ McDuffie's.

They seriously considered putting him on IR a couple of days ago. And since turf toe injuries tend to be quite tedious and the reoccurance rate is pretty high (couple that with McFadden's questionable durability), I'd say that a career ending injury isn't out of the question.

Not worried about Russell. McFadden, I am somewhat. We saw what Peyton Hillis did to us and while McFadden is not a FB, he can catch it out of the backfield and make some guys miss.

By the way, he'll never live up to his expectations. Complementary back at best.

Isn't that what hampered Deion Sanders toward the end of his career in Washington?

This little piggy goes to market, this little piggy stays home.....on IR.

I have been betting since last December that it would be his lack of bulk below the belt-line that would sideline him PERMANENTLY before he was in the league 3 years... I never dreamed it would be all the way to the piggies..

You thought his junk would be his undoing? :pity:
