No ya big dummy!!!! Calvin Johnson and Steve Smith would be the greatest WR duo in NFL history!! Not to mention the All Pro RB I got...your talking an all century team here!
all century? ur losing both ur tackles, and ur best defensive player. I dont think Calvin Johnson can block or sack QBs.
How do you know Im losing BOTH of them? BTW after that trade you should be banned from all forums on this site.
ah yes. youre making a joke about how many mid round pick i have. maybe i could throw in a fred Taylor jab, but nah. I'm totally comfortable having 1 2nd and 4 3rds. Free Agency will be mayhem, Im more focused on that right now. youre trading away one of your tackles, and you only transition tagged the other. since youre trading peppers, that means you cant remove his franchise tag to put it on gross. you could use the money that you would have used on peppers to outbid for gross. but then you are going into the draft with a major hole on both lines. yeah, my trade was horrible. all i got was a ridiculously gifted safety and a 3rd round pick. Is there any chance I could have got that at #4 overall on draft day? I've said it about other peoples trades, and I'll say it about my own. As long as the people making the trade are happy, then it was a good deal. I'm happy with what I got. It helps me get to where I'm trying to get. I should stab you in the neck for suggesting that I be banned. I recommend that you lock your windows before you go to sleep tonight. You know, because its cold outside, and we wouldn't want the windows to accidentally open and let all that cold air in.
greg jennings for deangelo williams. imagine hasselbeck with steve smith, calvin johnson, and greg jennings. i think this is a deal too good to pass up for you. ill go ahead and post it.
I dont need no stinkin RB Im brining in the Texas Tech offense with these mofo's.....only with a better defense!
funny how you try to blame me for everything that goes wrong................... tell them how you tried to trade big ben for a bowl of taffy......
:eatingpopcorn: not sure what's worse... the Lions finishing 0 and 16 last year... or this thread being hijacked...?
I said Peppers was way better than Adams and you said "I figured someone would say that and I disagree with it" What did you mean then?
You said he was light years better than Adams. I disagree with that. Adams is underrated and a very good player. I don't think Peppers is "light years" better than Adams. I made the comment in which I was replying to bold.
Thanks for increasing Adams stock. And really, with Jim Bates on the real life coaching staff, he knows how to make the most out of DE's. Peppers has a good DT duo swallowing up blockers while Adams pretty much has nothing at DT help and yet still made plays. Plus he's in the proverbial 3rd year breakout launchpad. No reason to believe he can't notch 10+ sacks under Bates and hopefully a better DT setup. The difference between Adams and Peppers is not very large even if you don't consider Pepper's salary and age. But considering those two, Adams is a better cornerstone for the future. 2 young and talented starters on OL and 2 underrated WR's with that I'd take over a pricey DE reaching 30, over the hill WR, RT, and a 2nd round.
See there is the difference your "predicting" Adams will break out while Peppers is far removed from unproven. I think if you ask 32 real gm's they take Peppers over Adams all day long.
