It's a poster...I don't think they are going to have Batman become a paraplegic to end these movies. But I think Bane will be positioned in a way to be Batman's hardest test. Perhaps he puts him on the shelf for awhile, or something like that. More than likely, we ar ejust reading too much into a stylized poster.

I don't think Bane is going to break Batman's back since many have said it would take Bruce Wayne years to rebuild himself back to fighting shape and having Bane running around Gotham for a few years without Batman there would probably just destroy the city. But I think it's obvious Bane is definitely going to beat the hell out of him a few times. Is it July yet?
I may be in the minority, but I think Nolan would be one of the few directors who could do a robin character justice Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
Saw the prologue tonight at the IMAX.... ****ing awesome, simply awesome. Bane looks bad ***. Comes accross much better on film than on the pictures bouncing around the internet. He's tough to understand through the mask (the dialogue) but I'm sure Nolan will get that cleaned up. Such a tease. It's like meeting the hottest woman on Earth, her getting into your bed naked and then saying, "You know, not tonight but I guarentee we'll have sex in July".
Saw it bootlegged on the internet tonight. Bane looks awesome. Hard to understand but I LOVED his response when asked what his next move was. Nailed it perfectly. It's gonna be a good one.
Yeah I just got done watching a bootleg, the quality wasn't great (obviously) but I'm pumped. I can't freaking wait. Bane looks bad ***.
YouTube it, any link we could post will be down by the time you try to click on it since WB is doing their best to take all the bootlegs down. Just go to Youtube and search for it, it's almost 7 minutes long.
Yeah I had to chase the damn thing through about 4 websites before I was able to view it. WB is all over this ****.
So someone who works at a theater leaked part of the trailer (It was under "Souffle Rising" on YouTube, but WB has taken it down, it was poor quality anyway) I caught it before they took it down. Hard to remember much, but I remember this line from Selina (not as Catwoman) to Bruce: [Behind spoiler cut for those who can wait until Friday] Spoiler You think this will last? There is a storm coming, Mr. Wayne. You and your friends better baton down the hatches...how did you ever think you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us? They were at what looked like a ball of some sort dancing and it seemed she wasn't too fond of him. She had one of those little mardi gras type eye masks on. (Not the Catwoman costume) Hard to tell though...but I assume she joins his side eventually when she sees how bat**** insane Bane is.
Just saw it on YouTube, again poor quality but it just looks/sounds awesome. I can't wait to view it in better quality. Man I can't wait for July 20th now. I have zero concerns about this movie being good, nor did I ever really because it was a Nolan film. The trailer definitely has some interesting stuff in it. If anyone wants to view the new trailer or prologue my advice is to keep checking YouTube and hope you're lucking to view it before WB takes it down. How would you like to have that job of searching the net for bootlegs of it?
Happy early Christmas, hopefully you guys are fast enough to view it, it's not bad quality, but the picture is a bit cut off. http://www.411mania.com/movies/news/214839
http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansi...n_Grabs&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter There's a clearer and full version of the trailer! At the masquerade, Anne is dressed as Catwoman in the scene with the ears on which was blurry in the other video...hmm must have snuck into the party or something.
From the comments of selina Kyle in the trailer it appears the theme of the movie might be Occupy Gotham.
I think its cool that Hines Ward is in the movie! I have a friend who was an extra that day and they filmed that scene in the summer and it was so brutally hot that day
Read a report that WB execs are concerned about the feedback online of Bane's voice and have asked Nolan to change it. Nolan, to his credit, told them to pound salt since he has creative control. I honestly don't think it will be THAT hard to hear him in the movie theatre. And if he sounded perfectly clear, it wouldn't be believable considering the apparatus he wears. WB should know by now that Nolan knows what he is doing.
I think a lot of the issues with Bane's voice was because there was a lot of background noise on the airplane in the prologue. You could understand him just fine in the trailer. Plus don't forget Nolan has barely started editing the film, a lot can be changed in post production to help clear his voice up a bit but I think we're still going to get his muffled, European accent, especially since like Samphin said, he's wearing a mask over his mouth.
When batman is laying strapped and Bane says "when gotham is in ashes thats when i'll allow you to die" or something like that......took me 3 times to understand what he said. Can't rewind the movie on imax, you can on youtube. I hope they clean it up in editing.
Serious question, did you watch the official trailer or a bootleg verison? Because if it was a bootleg, I agree it was hard to understand but he sounds pretty clear in the official release. Again though I think his voice will be tweaked a bit in post production to make it a little clearer.
If you use your "Bat-Hearing" you can understand everything fine. Personally I think they should add the shark as in the original Batman as homage to Adam West and all that HE did for the franchise.
So, I finally watched the trailer the other night, as it played in the previews before Sherlock Holmes. (Great movie, by the way. Go see it.) I have some reservations about what the trailer showed us. 1. Bane blowing up a football field. Why? Just random destruction? There seems to be no point to this besides a Steelers fanboy with some sort of creative control trying to find a way to get his favorite NFL team into a blockbuster movie. At least the Pat Leahy cameo in TDK was well-executed. This just seems arbitrary. 2. Was that a Bat-hovercraft at the end? Really? Nolan's Batman universe kept the gadgets relatively tame and didn't place much emphasis on them. Now Batman gets a flying car? Um… 3. Still not sure Anne Hathaway is the right choice for Selina Kyle. Then again, Arkham City might be spoiling me here. And if she's going to be some Robin Hood-esque thief who steals for the betterment of Gotham's underclass or any other sort of class warfare theme, then I think her character might flop. As long as this doesn't turn into Occupy Gotham, then we should have a pretty good film here. But it seems like it's skewing closer to Batman Begins than TDK.
