    Golden State says hi.

I wouldn't mind seeing Houston win but if MDA couldn't win with Nash, Stoudemire, Marion, Joe Johnson then he's not winning with Harden and a bunch of streak shooters. If he beats GSW though I won't complain.

Anyone but the Warriors, Cavs and Celtics. Which means unless the Spurs can do this I may as well not watch. Lol.

Hoping for SAS VS Cleveland. Kawhi won't choke the way GSW did.

I pray the nets max KCP, trade their 1st rd 2018 and 2019 picks for old players. Then, they suck balls, get top 3 lotto picks, and have to give them away.

It obviously won't happen, but if the basketball gods were just, Miami would win a top 3 pick in the lotto. They fought their asses off this year when they easily could have sold players off and tanked. It will be interesting to see what happens in the offseason. I think Riley will be busy.

At what point does the BS narrative that Heat fans are bad fans and front-runners end?

Jorge Sedano and Amin Elhassen have an interesting theory.

What do the Heat do better than everybody else as an organization?

They take everybody's trash and turn it into treasure.

So their theory is to take the best piece of superstar trash there is...and turn it into Heat treasure. Carmelo Anthony.

Phil will probably pay US to take him off their hands at this point, and the Heat is one of few teams Melo will waive his no trade to go to.

Yeah, GSW and Spurs are the only teams I'm truly worried about. When Westbrook gets MVP, we're going to see a pissed off Rockets team. It's going to be just as bad as when David Robinson stole Hakeem's MVP. Olajuwon and company went crazy on The Admiral and the Spurs.

BTW, Just saw that Harden broke Tiny Archibald's record by creating 4,554 points in a season (scoring and assists). Greatest offensive season of all time, 55 wins, and still won't win MVP. Damn shame. Use it as motivation.

He could always rebound. As a PF in Spo's system, he could average 25 ppg again.

Phil will not be paying you to take Melo off the Knicks hands. He wouldn't accept the Clippers, Celtics, or Cavs trash, don't see why he'd accept anyone else's? And I think the Melo to Miami ship sailed when Wade left.

Except Olajuwon was actually better then Robinson. I get in to this debate all the time, but I think Olajuwon was still the best C ever. He was the best in the best era for NBA bigs.

Harden may or may not win MVP but he's not a better player then Kawhi. And we saw how GSW doubled him on the perimeter a few weeks ago? This is always the point I come back to when your PG is your best scorer. You double him, take the ball out of his hands. Treat Harden the same way the Heat treat D Rose in the ECF and force him in to mistakes and silly plays. Harden is a great player but turnover prone. This is one of the reasons the rockets are destined to fall IMO. What works in the regular season, doesn't necessarily work in the playoffs.

Kawhi has been under a great coach and system since he got in the league. Not to mention, he was able to learn under a top 10 player of all time (Duncan).

Until this year with Dantoni, Harden has never had a good coach or a system worth a damn. His first season with a decent coach...he puts up one of the greatest individual seasons in history. Here is a quote from Harden from today's Houston Chronicle..."I'm excited, especially because it's the first time since I've been here, guys are on the same page," Harden said. "We have a coaching staff that has a system and everybody knows that system, offensively and defensively. Just the personnel as well. We have more than enough in this locker room to compete with anybody in the league." https://www.google.com/amp/www.chro...-to-making-their-point-s-Rockets-11071821.php

McHale was a horrible coach. I said that even when the Rockets were winning. I used to call him Joe Philbin of the NBA (you can check my old posts). There was no system...it was just give the ball to Harden and get the hell out of the way. That wasn't Harden's fault...which is why Harden wanted McHale gone. Even then, just off pure talent, Harden was putting up monster stats and winning 50+ games 2 out of 3 seasons (playoffs all 3 seasons).

Switch Kawhi and Harden's circumstances...then tell me if Kawhi could handle that.

I dont know why section wants carmelo, and im sure phil not trading him has worked out fantastic for your team. I hope he remains a knick for life if it means he continues to bring the kind of success you all have had.

As for me, the wish list starts with Millsap, Gordon Hayward, and it ends with Danilo gallinari. And of those three would fit in great.

Also bring back dion waiters and james johnson and explore offers for Winslow.

Not sure you can afford Waiters, JJ, and Millsap or Hayward.

I also don't understand selling low on Winslow. If you can package him and our draft pick with something to net a star like Paul George, fine. But I wouldn't be looking to just sell him off.

I wonder who the whales are that Riley really wants. I could see him going after Blake and Gordon first. I'd be cool with either.

Have our scouting department do what they do and get a contributing rookie.

Turn James Johnson into a lifer. Come back and win 60 games.

Because Winslow is too passive. I dont want to hear about his potential, I heard enough of Dorrell Wright's potential. Its time to step it up, or be someone else's prospect. If youre not playing up to your potential and your coach is Erik spoelstra, theres a problem.

Im rooting for portland in the playoffs even though theyll likely get bounced in the first round.. The one loss that stood out to me this season was against that team, we gave them everything they could handle and Lilliard just kept on firing from everywhere.

The reason Section (as well as some teams around the league) want Anthony is because hes one of the best scorers in the league.

Scoring is at a premium, particularly in the playoffs and Melo can do that in droves. We know you dont like the guy but that doesnt change facts.

You're talking about a 20 year old kid who played one season and a few games. We shouldn't talk about his potential because of some high school kid taken at the end of the draft years ago? How much sense does that make? What if the Bulls sold away Jimmy Butler after the same amount of games? I'm not saying he'll be Butler, or even a good player, there's just no reason to give someone like that away at this point.

Who does it is the least of my concerns. For any player, there us a reserve, a minimum, you want back. Anthony is still a top 20 player. If no one meets the reserve, he stays or at least that's the way I'd handle it. As a GM you have a responsibility to your fans and the players who do want to be there, not to the player who wants to be dealt.
