Didn't the Cubbbies trade Samardzija and get Addison Russel? Not a bad trade I think. Also, it can take awhile sometimes for the prospects to pan out or not. May not have been enough time.

Anybody can hit against those trash pitchers Texas is sending out. Didi still isnt a top 20 shortstop lol i wouldnt take him over Hechavarria and I dont consider Hechavarria a special talent.

If George was alive Didi would be in the Rockies and Tulo would be a Yankee.

Syndergaard was the real deal tonight. Perfect through 6...8ip 9k 3 hit's 0 run.

Interesting note...mets were in on Tulo but laughed at rox asking price of wheeler + Thor or Matz + Kevin plawecki...rox really didn't lower their asking price to mets since winter meetings when mets and rox talked tulo...

Dan Haren will likely be moved next. I would not be shocked at all if the Marlins are dangling Dee Gordon's name around to see what kind of package he can bring. The Marlins arent built to win next season, and with the Highest batting average at his position and a great glove like his, only high level prospects will be listened to and thats what the Marlins will go for.

I like that move almost as much as the move for Cueto. Zobrist will play LF until Gordon comes back, then he can help give our primary players relief as we head down the stretch. Or replace our second baseman.

Dayton Moore has done a helluva job at the deadline.

Latos/Morse deal to Dodgers not complete, might not happen due to medical. Not sure what's going on, didn't know Latos had an injury he was hiding. I guess we'll see.

Okay its a three team trade now with the Dodgers Marlins and Braves

Alex Wood and Latos to the Dodgers

Really nice gets for the Dodgers. Not sure where Morse is going, we are getting prospects in return, Braves are getting some nice prospects in return.

Alex Wood being told not to pack his stuff yet, he might be flipped for Price or Hamels.

Lol Reynolds makes a huge point. Mets havent told Flores yet about the trade and he is still on the field.. If he gets injured the deal is broken. Someone needs to inform that manager to take him out.

Mets being smartly aggressive, nice moves for them.

Waiting to see what happens with Hamels now. I keep hearing the Rangers are the leaders. If they really want him, and the Dodgers keep refusing Seager, they will get him. I would be hesitant to give up Alfaro, but with Gallo and Mazara off the table, he's the only top prospect they would be willing to offer. Lord knows they need pitching something fierce.

David Price to Blue Jays is getting close. Not official yet. Which means Hamels value goes up more.

Wilmer Flores in tears crying on the field and the managers wont pull him out of the game. Not cool by the Mets. Pull him out as soon as it is official.

Rangers AAA pitcher pulled after 5 innnings and less than 60 pitches. Announcer speculating he may be involved in a possible Hamels trade. Jared Eikhoff. Him and Chi Chi Gonzalez and Alfaro would be a decent package.

Im honestly scratching my head, not sure when the Yankees are going to make a move, they dont have a single ace in their roster. I think their best pitcher is Eovaldi or tanaka, either of those two wont cut it. They will get bounced in the first round or the Orioles who are hot right now will walk past them before the playoffs start.

Yeah Tanaka has allowed 4 tonight so far. He's a good 2-3 but not a 1.

Seeing reports of Alfaro (C), Eickhoff (RHP), either Gonzalez or Thompson (RHP/RHP) and another lower ranked prospect. Decent deal, but surprised they would part with Alfaro so readily over the OF prospects. They don't have another catcher in the system, but have a number of OFs.

Dodgers have to go for Price now.

Frankly, I think the Yankees stay pat, which is an interesting choice. They have some prospects that will help in the future, but they cannot count on another season of this nature from ARod or Tex.

Yankees standing pat will only have George rolling in his grave.. He is the opposite of standing pat. Seriously, do they think A Rod and Texeira will play at this level this season? Lol id get aggressive and start bringing in pitchers that can help you win now.
