Derrick Rose accused of rape? http://deadspin.com/report-woman-sues-derrick-rose-says-he-drugged-gang-1726827185
The mother of his own child accuses him of that lol pretty sure the case will be dropped. I cant stand people that use the court as a toy, the court isnt a joke, its for serious matters only. A civil suit for money against rose for "rape" two years ago = angry woman that got in a recent fight with Rose, havent talked in a while, suing for money.
RIP Darryl Dawkins - 58! Longtime NBA center Darryl Dawkins, perhaps best known for his emphatic slam dunks, died Thursday at the age of 58. After WFMZ-TV initially reported the former Philadelphia 76ers star's death, a Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest spokesperson confirmed the report to John Finger of CSNPhilly.com. Finger noted the cause of death is unknown. Sean Highkin of Bleacher Report passed along a message from Dawkins' family: Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports provided a statement from 76ers CEO Scott O'Neil: Dawkins was affectionately referred to as "Chocolate Thunder," a nickname given to him by legendary singer Stevie Wonder due to his penchant for victimizing opposing defenders with highlight-reel dunks. The Orlando, Florida, native truly earned his moniker in 1979 when he twice shattered the backboard with his devastating slams, one of which can be seen in this GIF, courtesy of Complex Sports: After being chosen with the No. 5 overall selection in the 1975 NBA draft out of high school by the Sixers, Dawkins went on to spend 14 seasons in the league with the 76ers, the New Jersey Nets, the Utah Jazz and the Detroit Pistons. He averaged 12 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game over the course of his career. Although he was never named to an All-Star team, he ranks seventh on the NBA's all-time field-goal percentage list at 57.2 percent, according to Basketball-Reference.com. The big man left a lasting impression on many due to his larger-than-life personality, including ESPN.com's Dave McMenamin: Fellow 76ers icon Allen Iverson passed along his condolences after the news broke: While Dawkins was formidable on the court, he will always be remembered for the flair and showmanship that made the NBA so great in the 1970s and 1980s. He is one of the most iconic figures in the history of the 76ers and Nets organizations, and there is no question his presence and radiance will be missed by their fans.
Hothothoops.com STORY "Miami Heat owner Micky Arison may be seeking to switch up his team's colorway for a possible alternate uniform in the near future that recalls South Beach and Miami Vice. On Wednesday, Arison posted a fan-made mockup of Dwyane Wade on the court with two Heat jersey variants featuring pink and teal and asked for fan feedback, saying he might bring up the possibility with adidas - the NBA's current apparel company. The "South Beach" colorway was at its most popular peak a few years ago when LeBron James released his signature shoe with Nike with it but hasn't been seen much as of late. The creator of the white jersey on the left, Carwyn Thomas "WelshNBAFan" originally posted a few variations of his idea on Reddit that can be seen below and has received mostly positive feedback, with "heatvshaters305" the designer of the black jersey. What do you think? Let Arison know in the comments below or on his Instagram account."
The white one definitely has the south beach/Miami subs colors haha. I don't know, it just looks very clean.
So were the only pictures actually put out by the Heat/Arison the white one and the black tie version? Because if that's the case, I would prefer the white. Were those other ones just mock-ups from fans?
Explain why she was seen smiling in photos with Rose not too long ago in Disney. Im very sure of what im talking about, thanks.
Nope. You're completely ignorant of the facts. We all are. And your comment about her smiling in public shows you know nothing about the dynamics at work when it comes to abused women. But nice try.
The passing of Daryl Dawkins is a sad day for me. I remember when I was 4 or 5 being on vacation with my parents in upstate NY (Monticello) and walking in to the hotel we were staying at and seeing this humongus giant. Daryl Dawkins took a picture with myself and my parents, spent a few minutes talking about life in the nba. My dad was the one that recognized him obviously but it was 5 minutes I remember well. Still have the picture somewhere in one of moms 30 photo albums lol. Nice guy, may he RIP.
TODAY.................. Is the 20th Anniversary of Pat Riley arriving here in Miami. Happy Anniversary to all of us.
20th hour anniversary, lol. True clash of the titans. Zach Lowe tweeting "show me where I've taken a dump" to 300,000 followers was priceless
You guys wanna laugh? if you follow the feud....Zach Lowe calls me a "Serious NBA Writer" (remembering me from when everybody wanted me to write for nothing for a bunch of sites). I then quickly correct him. I am not a serious writer. I am a TV Clown. get it right.
More: Turner sports once offered me a job (I wasn't gonna take it)..and their HR lackey asks me: "You got a abrasive Twitter personality?" I answered (joking): "Yeah..I ****ing do..you got a problem with that?'

Switch Whiteside and Deng, then move Dragić, Wade, and Bosh up 10 spots each, and that list looks pretty accurate.
Some great stuff at this link: http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...fl-miami-heat-pat-riley-090215-htmlstory.html
I agree. Though I'm OK with not moving Wade up 10 spots. There's no doubt though that if the Heat don't do well next year, and they stay pretty healthy, then that will be a poor reflection on Spoelstra. Adding in a Justise Winslow, Josh McRoberts and Amar'e Stoudamire, this is about as purely talented as a team gets barring a Big 3 type situation.
I think as things stand today, those rankings are fair. I think Wade could be ranked higher, but Whiteside is working off of an extremely small sample size, Dragic is coming off a down year for him statistically (that was the Suns fault not his, but still), and Bosh had a somewhat underwhelming year before missing the end of the year due to his health. I think all of those players are legitimately better than those rankings, but I think it's fair to list them there right now. Next year I would expect them all to be much higher.

Other franchises may win more games here and there but there isn't a more pimp franchise in professional sports.
