Let's give it a little more perspective: Dirk had Bosh and Haslem on him vs Wade being defending by...?

Yeah that's cute. The person defending you is in part going to be a reflection of your FG%. Wade is a great player but Dirk was getting constant doubles and had good players on him all series.

Lebron's average shot distance yesterday was 16.6 ft. How the hell do you expect him to shoot FT's like that?

Golden State got called 25 PF's while running a motion, screen offense. Cleveland got called for 28 with an Iso, P&R offense. Those numbers by the shear fact of the offenses they run should be reversed.

ISO, P&R = no foul calls.

IMO Lebron, Iggy and Curry are the only three with MVP consideration. If Curry has another big game on Tuesday with a GSW win, I could see him getting it riding the momentum of the Warriors championship and two big games to put the series away. Lebron vs. Iggy will be a referendum on how much sway being on the winning team matters. I never watched Rick Barry win his MVP so I can't comment on how dominant he was in those losses. Lebron has been the best and most consistent player, but there's an argument that Iggy contained him. Another good game from Iggy and a GSW championship in 6 could sway momentum towards him. There does appear to be some sentiment leaning that way. As of right now I would have to say Lebron's been the mvp. If he continues to play well and takes it to 7 (or obviously Cavs win) then he gets it. But if GSW wins in 6 then a Warrior may get it if Iggy or Curry plays well regardless of what Lebron does.

The biggest factor this series may not be a player but rather the lack thereof. GSW has won the 4th quarter ever game. Cleveland is seeing a consistent drop late in games and the injuries are hurting them there more then anywhere else

Wade was defended by 9x (NINE TIME) All-NBA Defense, Jason Kidd all series, with a little Deshawn Stephenson, who was always a good defender. So they both had it, equally tough.

and the Heat didn't double in that series, BTW. (They don't in general principle due to their system)

I don't necessarily think the calls have gone one way or another this series.

One thing I will say is that the days of superstars getting favorable calls is long gone. LeBron really gets treated like everyone else, maybe slightly worse because of how powerful he is.

Iguodala has scored 20 pts once this series.

He has had 0 double doubles.

He shot 2-11 from the FT line last night.

They're really going to give this guy the MVP?

Either going to Curry or LBJ IMHO.

I very well could see Curry playing at an average level the rest of the series, and still winning the MVP. Despite a less than stellar Finals, he has had one of the better overall playoff performances I can recall.

Yes end of career Jason kidd and deshawn Stevenson who was out of the league (or at least irrelevant ) soon after vs in his prime wade. Seems equal lol.

Kidd was still capable that year. His DWS are near his numbers when he was making all those ALL-NBA defense teams.

I can't remember ever seeing a guy shoot off the dribble as incredibly as Curry. His dribble and step back jumper is not something that ever drops for mere mortals.

It's odd to me as well. He doesn't shoot at the top of his jump. He shoots it on the way up. That's why it's so quick. And he shoots a higher arc than most (probably to compensate for shooting from a lower point).

Good news Lebron fans, Wade will be at the game tomorrow and that means The Cavaliers might win. As someone pointed out the other day Lebron is 0-6 in the Finals when wade isnt in the building.

Wow. At least the Heat fans that gave up prematurely on their team in '13 waited until the middle of the 4th quarter.

They got trash cans to set on fire and buildings to vandalize after they lose tonight.. If they're at the game, they will have to go through human traffic to walk out of the arena, and that takes too much time, all the good areas to burn will be taken.

A week and a half til draft night and we've already got trades happening!

Lance Stephenson to the Clippers for Spencer Hawes and Matt Barnes. Charlotte actually takes on salary as they assume the last 3 years of Hawes deal at 3.7ish. Good move for the clippers as they really needed a younger wing player. Now if they get the pacers version of Stephenson this may be the best thing they do all offseason.

Also bucks dealt Ilyasova to Detroit for two non guaranteed contracts. Bucks now have a max slot. Jason Kidd wants Brook Lopez or Deandre Jordan. I don't think he's getting either personally. Also probably tells ya JVG thinks that Monroe is gone

I didnt need Physc 101 to figure out why...this one is summed up quite easily. Butt-Hurt meets defense mechanism..."oh yea well Cleveland has slushy dirty snow"

    It's funny.

It was a great move for the Clippers.

They gave up essentially nothing for Lance, who has a Team option next year. If it doesn't work out, just pull the plug and you've ridded yourself of Lance and Hawes's salaries.

Charlotte must have been really desperate to dump this clown.

It's not really "Butt-Hurt". A lot of Heat fans HATE and DESPISE Cleveland Fans (all of them)and don't care that Lebron James left.

Trust me on this. For example, Personally..I DESPISE and HATE with the intensity of a THOUSAND SUNS, Cleveland Browns Fans.

    The resentment comes like this:

The average Heat fan saw how the average Cavs fan behaved the past 4 years, and how Dan Gilbert behaved at first. They consider that collection of characters un-worthy of getting Lebron back, while Heat fans stayed classy and showed gratitude.

And all that class and gratitude got us nothing, not even a "thanks".

Instead, we've been derided as "college years", referred to as "that franchise I was with" and the man seems to be actively poisoning Wade against the Heat when Wade should really be mad at HIM.

You can't actually be arguing that the things being said about Cleveland / Cavs fans are classy, right? You may be acting classy towards LeBron - but I'm specifically talking about how y'all are talking about Cleveland.

And if you're saying Cavs fans don't deserve class - that's fine - but that's not how "classy" works.

That's essentially what it comes down to for me. Am I bitter that LeBron left? Of course. But at no point have I ever had the venomous hate for him that Cleveland fans, and especially Gilbert, spewed after he left. Yet somehow Heat fans are the ones that are portrayed as the spoiled sports, or unworthy of LeBron. You hear "Cleveland deserved to have him back", "Cleveland fans are true fans while Miami fans are bandwagoners", and "He did it the right way this time after doing it the wrong way going to Miami" along with plenty of other pro Cleveland/anti Miami comments. I don't dislike all Cleveland fans. The ones on this board are actually quite intelligent. But as a whole, I will root against that city, and especially that owner, because of all of this.

Whatever "Cleveland" has gotten is well deserved. They (The Fans) have earned it. On the other hand, Miami Fans took unholy amounts of **** for no reason whatsoever, and STILL gets **** after the fact.

As for the "attacks" on the city itself, well, It's Cleveland. Those insults started way before Lebron was even born.
