Yes. His BA is down a bit from his career average but his OBP, SLG and OPS as well as his power numbers are all in line or better than his averages. He's a very good player.

It's going to take awhile to gather all the "evidence" as they're talking to multiple "witnesses".

Personally I think they have all of it.....I think this whole thing is predicated on timing, the closer A-Rod comes back to game action they will invoke it....just my opinion...

A-Rod is the big fish in all of this, even more so than Braun....

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised to hear he needs surgery soon. Even if he doesn't not sure how good he'll be moving forward this year.

HAHAHAHA this is delicious........man if there EVER was a message sent to this FO that the tide needs to change on how their mentality is THIS year is it.....

David Adams is the everyday 3rd baseman for the rest of the season because A-Rod is getting suspended.....

Good Tweet from a Yankee blogger:

    Mike Axisa ‏@mikeaxisa
Wells + Youkilis + Ichiro: .242/.291/.399 and $30M in salary in 2013. Hard to have a worse offseason.

Mike is awesome. He reminds me of a Yankee you hahahahh. I got a better stat for roughly 64.5M they have 5 home runs.
That's 12.9M a bomb. A bargain good work if you can get it.

It's amazing how everyone in our division is over .500. This is going to be a 5 headed race to end the season. Toronto has been on fire lately. I say 3 teams from the east make the playoffs still.

All your pain will go away on July 1st, when Arod returns to live game action!

Who would have ever thought Arod would be playing games before Jeter back in Feb/March.

I could see it when Jeter got hurt in ST again.....one thing I will always say about A-Rod the guy works his *** to get back, and is generally a fast (roid) healer....

Miss Jeter, cant wait till he gets back....just want to enjoy the last 1.5 years left of him like I am with Rivera right now...

Like Arod or not, you have to respect the fact that no matter what he's in that line up. He's not a diva in the way someone like Manny Ramirez, for example, is where he'd take a day off by making up an injury or excuse or simply just doesn't want to play that day.

I honestly don't know if "enjoy" is the right word to describe Jeter's remaining years. I'm not sure we'll ever see the same player he was before the injury, especially defensively. It might end up being a "New York Met Willie Mays" thing due the serious nature of his injury as well as his age and the position he plays. Time will tell though.

Generally yes but as of late it doesn't produce good outcomes .........

As for Jeter yes I will enjoy him absolutely, the last year and a half IF he stinks it up I won't even care because how can you be mad at him from a fan standpoint about what he has done and given to the organization....I agree in the field he will be shaky, but he will be DH'd as well too. Hitting wise I will reserve judgement, the guy IMO can and will always hit he went 1-for-June (or something close to that) and when he was chasing 3000 he was off too, but besides that he has been stellar with the bat. I don't see Jeter all of a sudden batting in the low .200's...

He has a 8M player option with a BUNCH of incentives for next year.....Next year is his last year for sure (at least as a Yankee) and dont put it past the Captain to have one of his better years with the stick....that upper body and legs are nice and rested...

This are his incentives to be exact.....he wont get AL MVP, ALCS or WS MVP......

he might get a GG or a SS because that is a popularity contest more than anything....
