Like when Schilling lost his velo, this is how CC is going to have to pitch from now on.....he cant rely on the hard 4/2-seamer and hard slider anymore....

Schilling to his credit and IMO why he is a HoF'er adapted to hitters once he lost it and bought himself several more years a a few rings...

He reinvented himself, and CC is going to have to as well....

CC will be fine. The guy can flat out pitch. Even if he doesn't have his 94 mph velo anymore he still spots the fastball and has a good slider and change up.

Even without his best stuff cc can still get through innings. I remember a couple weeks ago he grinned through a bad pitch game to 7 innings. Today for a whole he had dominate stuff, lost it after giving up his first hit and got it back later innings. Pitched great. Nice to see Yankees beat a real good Indian team. I think they'll be fine.

I like the 3 first rounders, they at 26 got a 3rd basemen out of ND who was projected in the mid-teens...scouts project him at first or the OF at the next level.

Then they had 32 and 33 and at 32 they took a 6-7 250 pound OF.....prototypical RF guy....good defense, runs well, and power to all fields.....sounds promising....

And then the next pick they got a guy projected to go low 20's, LHP whom I think they gambled on because he is a HS kid, and probably could go to College and become a Top 10 guy in a year or 2....if he signs he could be the marquee guy of their draft I know it is just HS but 73ip, 0.92era, 134k's!!!!! Unreal....

the kicker is he and his father grew up HATING the Yankees....

2nd rounder is a little questionable especially with Denny and Wahl on the board but.....

I'm very happy with the picks so far. I dont mind the 2nd rounder with the first round we had you can take a chance. Never hurts to have a defensive utility guy.

Probably give him a 42 number that they use for the Green Monster, like they did for Chipper Jones.

Yeah I think these next two/three weeks will tell you a lot more about the Yankees moving forward than the past week. Especially since the schedule is about to get a little tougher moving forward.

Were they scheduled to play 17 games in a row or did that happen due to a rain out?

It's just God's will for him to complain.

Tex flying back to NY for his wrist.....He had a set back in his wrist, the guy is probably gone for the year he just doesn't want to admit it yet. Shocking I know. It is at the point where in order to win this thing they are going to need to get all these guys healthy AND producing which I don't see. I am at the point where I hope they tank and are sellers at the deadline.....
