What part of "washed up" is so hard for you to comprehend?

 

As much as I like the Beard, I would say that Wade is still the better all-around player. But I value defense as much as points. And I value all-around good play more than being great in areas and having holes in others. IMO Wade's all-around ability has always been under-rated. Even when he was considered a top 5 player by everybody, I felt that he was behind others who were valued too much for their points and not docked enough for other parts of their game (Kobe). And now I feel that people are exaggerating how much time Wade has missed and not really noticing how well he's played this year b/c the point totals are lower and he has fewer highlight plays. I think they see his knee issues as a permanent disability rather than as a something that can be worked through and be fully recovered from. This is his most efficient scoring year ever and I think his D is more consistent than it has ever been. Arguably, he's playing as well this year as he ever has. Whatever minimal decrease there is in athleticism has been made up by smarter play. I don't agree that Wade in 2016 being an after-thought is a given. I could easily see the big three being very much the same potent force then as they are now. IMO the window for the big three as they stand now going at least through 2016 (assuming they all stay, which I see as likely). My guess is that Wade starts to decline about 2017, but Lebron will still be in his prime and Bosh will probably be better than he is now. And at that point I could see Wade taking a lesser role (and salary) and Riley finding another big third piece.

Yeah this entire team has had a bad 6 day span. Missing shots we always hit, and you can tell from the body language that they don't quite trust the shots either.

 

I may have had a lil too much Dos XXX Amber, but I always enjoy making Heat fan angry. (Just looked up stats seen Hickson played well, figured isolating Wade as the culprit was the right thing to do)

and he was actually not that bad in that game.....his numbers in that game exceeded Harden's overall season in Eff. Diff. But of course....Harden is...Better...LOL

Lebron definitely does that. There are games where you think man he just didn't have it tonight. Then you look at the box score and he is one assist or rebound from a triple double

Well..Harden has to eventually get tired of being made a fool of by Wade. Good thing that Harden gets so many Bull**** calls and he can shoot Free Throws.

Oh..and Lebron was okay....but he wasn't Lebron ..really. His shot is off, and he is being careless with the ball.

In fact..look at his two fouls on lebron.

 

He made some DIRTY plays in yesterday's game alone.

 

That first one where he intentionally slid under lebron, was malicious. That's how players break wrists from having to brace their falls.

The second one, was very slick.

When you FOUL HARD. You go at THE BALL with great force to Dislodge it from the players handle. If you BREAK a guys wrists...fine...but that is not what beverly did. He was much slicker than that. He went at the ball as if to block the shot and then gave up on the block (because him blocking lebrons layup attempt was ridiculous) and then pulled down on his shoulder when he was in the air. NOT a Basketball play, and a simple attempt to injure, once again.

The guy is a scumbag. He is a good defender, he doesn't need to be a dirty player.

 

What was impressive about that game yesterday was that it was vintage Heat.

People wonder if the heat can switch on their maniacal defense when needed.....well....

With 4:26 left in the game...Beverly hit a three point shot. The Rockets with their high powered offense, DID NOT SCORE AGAIN (till two garbage time FT's with 6 seconds left)

 

Ray Allen.

 

That last one he went for the ball on the rejection though.

 

Old basketball trick. attempt a block on a much taller player and when you can't reach the ball because of height...you pull the player down.

 

He was awesome yesterday. Did you see that 3/4 court pass by Wade to the corner for Ray Allen?
