Where did this Tyler Johnson kid come from?!?!? 6 for 6 from the floor.

Edit: From the floor, not three.

Well that was a fun gane to watch as a Heat fan. Ennis looks to good to be playing with these guys and Napier took a big step in the right direction.

Ennis was unconscious. 10-12 including 7-8 from three. 29 points including a hammer dunk. Hope to see more from him from now on in the summer league and in the Heat squad.

Shabazz with a nice bounce back game and Hamilton was also nice. Tyler Johnson came out of nowhere and looked solid too.

Maybe if I was nervous sure. This isn't Cleveland, even on the off chance Lebron left my life would go on normally

That Rich Paul has a hidden agenda to try to get Lebron back to Cleveland. Yeah Woj....we knew that.

Still noone took a flier before #50? This type of athleticism and shooting ability is what you need in the NBA.

I dont get the Cleveland hype young teams dont win titles. Not saying they wouldnt trade wiggins and dion but if they dont that team wont win jack for a few years. If lebron wants to leave Miami hes better off on the clippers, bulls, rockets etc. I fail to see how he goes to a young team and gives up 2 years off jump of his prime while these guys learn how to play playoff basketball.

NBA media lulz, this time of yr they are throwing anything at the wall to generate traffic

Tho I am beginning to have doubts about Lebron returning to Miami, why put things off this long? He knows the league and who is who and who he thinks he would fit well with on the floor, what possible pitch could be made.

Here's my biggest issue with all this Cleveland stuff suddenly out there.

First off, his boys didn't want him to leave in the first place. He's empowered his friends Vinny Chase style but he still makes the calls.

Second, I refuse to believe LeBron is even considering Cleveland until he talks to David Blatt and figures out what his system is, etc.

Seriously, no one has talked about this point. Cleveland has hired a coach who has never coached in the NBA at any level. I don't think Blatt has coached anybody that is currently in the NBA that LeBron knows/trusts to vouch for him. LeBron is a basketball junkie, but I highly doubt he spent the long weekend scouring tape of Maccabi Tel Aviv and the Russian National Team to get a read on this guy.

LJ had issues for a while with Spo, who was vouched for by one of his closest friends. If we ehar today that Bron had a 4 hour meeting with Blatt, then maybe I'll get nervous. Until then, no chance.

Also, I love the breathless reports about the Riley/Bron meeting, like its all clandestine. These people have known each other for 4 years and can get in personal contact any time they want. I'm pretty sure Riley can just call Bron and say "Hey, can you stop by the house or the office before your flight to Vegas so we can go over a few things?"

They don't need to be setting secret meetings in dimly lit steakhouses

Didn't Woj once "break" a story that Pau Gasol had been traded? It was funny because he broke it all by his lonesome too. The NBA doesn't have a Jay Glazer or Adam Schefter. These guys are jokes in comparison to actual insiders. In the NFL, beat writers suck and national guys get the scoops. It seems to be the reverse for the NBA.

But at the same time, I could see Riley doing that for the ambience. Maybe leave notice of the meeting on a horse head in LeBron's bed or something.

Woj is a weird case. He breaks 90% of the major transactions in the NBA - but his long-form articles are all pretty awful.

Phin, I'm sure I know the answer but do Cleveland fans really want LeBron back?

Just seems to me it's a complete lack of dignity and self respect but it's only sports, so I guess normal rules don't apply.

If LeBron left the Heat, I wouldn't hate him, and I will always appreciate and cherish the memories, but once you're out, you're out. Don't let the door hit you on the ***, and don't bother trying to get back in.

I appreciate Shaq's contributions to the Heat too, but I never wished for his return, even when it became a possibility and he doesn't really deserve to have his number retired either. And neither will Lebron. That honor is reserved for the Wades and
Haslems of the world (Bosh too if he sticks despite LBJ leaving)

Dan Gilbert = randy marsh, lebron = Jesse Jackson.

That's how I picture their meeting going.

There's a few people out there who still hate him - but for the most part I think the city is completely fine being a bunch of hypocrites and taking him back. 50+ years without a championship will do that to ya haha.
