One does have to wonder why Lebrons agent is meeting with a few teams, especially those from the WC that would give minimal advantage as far as "posturing" to tie up resources. Is this a squeeze to put some pressure on the Heat brass?? This is all quite bizarre.

Again, the clearest writing on the wall Bron is staying put is the fact he allowed Wade to opt out costing him millions of dollars...just because Wade screwed him over in the finals, doesn't mean LeBron will screw him over in life.

Could the report(s) about the natives getting restless be accurate? Could Bron and Bosh actually consider leaving if Spriley can't land one or more of Gasol, Deng or Ariza, even if he does manage to add some second-tier pieces like Morrow/Carter/Butler/Williams?

I tend not to believe much in these dog days of free agency, but the lack of any movement whatsoever is worrisome, when dominoes figure to start toppling any second.

Literally every person I know with any sort of inside source says LeBron to Cleveland is a done deal. Either it's true or LeBron's buddies are trying to feel popular again.

 

He's not coming back (this offseason), and I have a hard time seeing him ever come back so long as Gilbert owns the team.

 

As much as I would LOVE for it to be true, I don't see that tweet having any relevance at all.

IMO That is silly because if Lebron left Bosh could get the max here. If Bosh leaves Lebron probably would IMO which makes the entire scenario ridiculous.

 

Outside of Anthony Bennett (who could still turn out well), they've done quite well with #1 overall picks. Unless of course all those picks are conveniently, blatantly obvious.

 

The thing I don't understand, coming from supposedly smart people like LeBron and Bosh, is this sole focus on next year.

The cap could spike after the new tv deal. There could be another lockout which could completely change the rules again.

We are in great position over the next five years. The lack of perspective is stunning
