Great mid range and in shooter but his defense... Is God damn awful... Maybe miami can mask it?

Honestly I feel like we already have enough solid defenders that finding offensive weapons is more important at this point.

We desperately need a wing defender.

Fair enough and true, but that defender needs offensive ability as well. We can't continue to play 3 on 5 offensively like we did in the finals IMO.

Yeah we were getting torched on the wings vs San Antonio.

I did also feel that our offense/defense lapses seemed syncopated. A couple of times we would just go dry on the offensive side and then the defense would buckle.

Bottom line is we need more production from 4-9 this next year.

Per Stein, Indiana has engaged Phoenix on trade talks regarding Goran Dragic but no common ground yet.

Why would Phoenix even entertain this? What could Indy possibly be offering that would make it worth their while?

They really have NOTHING that can add up to the value of a Goran Dragic.

Dragic played mostly the #2 last year and was only 1 pt. off of Dwyane Wade in PER, ..less than 2 pts. away than Harden.

    http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/statistics/_/position/sg

Wait...Gragic is great...but was short of Wade in PER? Doesn't Wade suck? Anyway.....

Yeah..Dragic is a huge property and Phoenix would be nuts to trade him.

ESPN having a field day with "Lebron is Leaving" stuff.

This is the tough part to ride out. 4 years ago at this time we were watching a single clip of Wade driving away in his SUV saying "family is the most important thing", with all the speculation that he was going to Chicago.

    One very tough week awaits.....

Skolnick saying that nothing he has heard leads him to believe Heat have $10-12 million in cap space and that they will be operating as a capped team, with the various exceptions.

There is so much misinformation purposefully being pumped out there it is ridiculous.

A Lakers insider is saying that basically, if. Melo signs with L.A., Pau will come with him. If not, then he move a on to OKC or Miami (his words, not mine). Kobe is at the meeting today and insisting that he is healthy and will be 100% by season start. This jives with what Kupchak said on the radio this week that if a game were to be played today, Kobe would be in it.

Lowry was offered a two year deal by L.A. a smaller salary from Houston. Ultimately, the combo of both from Toronto kept him there. This also jives with the rumored strategy of L.A. offering up 1-2 year contracts to everyone not named Carmelo.

Julius Randle does NOT need surgery on his foot and will be a go for L.A. Most likely being penciled in as their starting PF. Lakers think he is a sure thing. I tend to agree with that with regards to him being an All-Star caliber #4.

Chris Broussard was on ESPN a couple days ago and said there was no chance the Lakers would land Melo or anyone else major. It's Broussard so take it for what you will, but I hope that's right if that means Pau to Miami.

Well since I was already disregarding Broussard for anything Heat related....

Seriously the media is beyond useless now until a guy commits. They will report the most baseless conjecture as concrete fact.

Per Broussard, Luol Deng just returned to US yesterday and will start meeting with teams after the holiday weekend.

Cleveland is willing to engage a S&T.

Not sure what we have that they would want, or if they'd even want to deal with us, but at least it gets us in the game

dragic is FA next. Year. If they're gonna resign Bledsoe you could see a S&t with Stephenson and dragic? Kind of a lateral move for Phoenix as you're banking on what Stephenson can be what dragic already is. But we'll see. That's one of the few ideas involving those two teams that would make sense to me.

Lebby going off on Broussard, calling him a "creep"

Basically, everything is coming from agents and only difference between 2010 and now is that the Big 3 have different agents. This is first time that Rich Paul will get a commission so of course he wants that max.

If LeBron left Heat would be absolutely blindsided and are making no contingency plans.
