What an end of the 1st quarter from Smith! That dude gives us a chance to beat anyone............including ourselves.
Normally "home cooking" and the playoffs go hand n hand in the NBA...haven't watched much of any other series but nobody can accuse the Knicks of getting ANY favorable calls the first 6 quarters of this series.
Unbelievable. One minute it's a 3 point game, and a couple minutes later, it's a 15 point game. I guess nothing should surprise me with the Heat.
The Knicks have no ability to go on runs like that...Melo is great, but isn't very athletic. Ughhhhhhhhh why can't I root for a championship pro team!
I can't unsee that. He ended up as part of the highlight on NBA.com, so he's gonna get some more fame. Good Lordy.
You mean saying mother****er every trip up and down the court doesn't count for tough guy points?? Uh oh, Knicks fans chanting "Boston sucks" get ready for THAT public relations nightmare.
Been saying this for a while now. KG deserves an academy award for his fantastic portrayal of a "tough guy" over the past 10+ years. Quite the body of work. Meh. Media would have to have a serious stick up their *** to spin that completely out of context toward the city of Boston. LOL @ MVP chants for Melo though.
Hate to say this, but the Knicks defense is playing much better when Kenyon Martin NOT Tyson Chandler is in.
So bye bye Let's go C's cries... Drove to the game, but all I did was cry... and obnoxious Knick fans were chanting MVP for Melo on this night... Singing..this is the night that KG Died..... This is the night KG died.....
However this wasnt the case in a larger sample size during the regular season when the Knicks +/- when Martin subbed in for Chandler dipped badly. The 23 points set the playoff record for fewest points in a half. 23% and 19% shooting in the 2nd halves for the C's. They think they know but they dont know bro.
Holy crap that Woj article this morning was awful. "Cavs need to stop tanking for picks and get better, but also no free agents will go there and there aren't any trades for them to make." Pretty awful logic. Also - I would think hiring Mike Brown would be a pretty obvious move that means they are NOT waiting around for LeBron - yet the piece seems to go back and forth between "Cavs made mistake hiring Brown because now LeBron won't want to go there but also Cavs shouldn't make moves waiting for LeBron to go there." And his point on Jonas V being picked instead of Tristan Thompson might be true in the long-term, but Thompson is good enough at this point that it's hard to believe Jonas will ever be so significantly better than it is a franchise-altering miss. Don't get me wrong, the Cavs have issues, but it's frustration watching the national media create the 'LeBron Returning?' narrative and then shoe-horn every move as if the Cavs are 100% following that strategy.
I'm already sick of this narrative. And it is being force fed weekly already. You want to know where Lebron is going? It's simple, he's going where he has the best chance to win more championships. This is all about legacy for him at this point. Why would anyone believe going to Cleveland with a lesser supporting cast and a coach who shows no ability to win move him back?
