His efficiency rating comes out tomorrow morning. I am betting that it is in the 40's which will put it in the top 3 games of this year range. His issue was FT's. only shot 8. and he took 26 shots. So that will hurt his overall Eff. Remember..Harden scored 46 on 19 Shots..twice. But yeah..I was mesmerized by Melo..and ALMOST rooting for him. I said..."ALMOST".

I didnt say it was the best efficiency rating but it was there with Currys game vs NYK and a few of the Lebron performances during his ridiculous streak for best individual performance in a single game imo. Havent seen a Knick shoot it like this since I saw Bernard King drop 50 on back to back nights when I was like 7. Thats when I first got in to basketball. Its not a coincidence that King was Melo's favorite player growing up. Pre-injury King was headed for a HOF career.
Melo has matured incredibly, when he got the ball he made the right basketball play each time. Be it passing out of a double team, or forgoing a one on one opportunity to run more clock.

NYK On legends night, 40th anniversary of the 73 championship team...Melo showed the stuff of legends. First 50 win season in quite a while is gonna be sweet. Hopefully we can get that 2 seed.
